Chaps ,

One of my mates says a player (Richmond , he thinks) , played just one senior game of AFL - and that in a winning grand final!

If he is not pulling my leg , I'd appreciate any info on the player/club/year.

He actually shot himself in the foot with a shotgun!!!!

Damaged his foot so much he could not play again.

I kid you not!!

Maybe that's where that saying "shot himself in the foot came from"!!

No he didn't. He didn't play his only game in a Grand Final.

first game in a winning Grand Final team

I think you'll find he played a few (5) before that.
