Steene is easily the VFL’s R1 this year. Not quite ready for the AFL, but developing well. Probably in the top three performers against Richmond (Richards and Sullivan the other two).

Johnson misses. Maybe an emergency, maybe not. Might have been allowing for Frampton to play on someone more competitive.

Man Frampton turns the ball over a lot. Most of his kicks I see end up working for the other team.

I have made my critiques of the Hoskin-Elliott tank but he is one underrated player. Against Richmond, not many faults in his game. Thought he played better than Dusty.

WHE is one of our most versatile players so a good sub candidate but he deserves a crack in the starting line-up.

Not sure we do know that but he has shown enough to make you want to see what he could do if he had a run at it. He has had 1 full AFL game at Collingwood and kicked 4 career goals. Remains an unknown at AFL level. You have to show you can sustain it at the level to know he can play. I'd like to find out.

Kreuger hasn't demonstrated that he belongs in the way Rusling or Walker did. So far he has only mirrored their tragic ability to be injured, not their elite traits. When he's out there he looks like he belongs. His endeavour is beyond question.

My point is though, that you need to give him exposure if you want him to make it as a forward in our system. Takes time to learn patterns, your place and to build chemistry.
