Sure they contributed to our success but times change and change is needed for ongoing success - we have moved on with both coaching personnel, re-generating list and a bit of how we play.

If it is deemed that they are the best candidates to fill a vacancy then perhaps but not out of some sentimentality.

That's where my 'expertise' disappears - in relation to football dept staffing, assistant coaches and soft-caps etc.

If possible I definitely think Dimma needs some extra hands to ease the load - if he get's stressed and cranky I don't think he coaches as well....

Clarkos last 7 years at Hawthorn were terrible. I'm not sure he is worth the fuss at all.

Most will disagree but I'd put Ross Lyon on at Essendon and he'd have them competitive in 12 months.


Id be happy if Rutten can come back and rebuild himself at Richmond. Our backline has become a bit leaky. He can take over there..

I reckon coming from 7th or 8th will give Dimma and the team a bit more freedom to play 100% Richmond Footy - almost a free hit.
No one really expects us to win 4 finals in a row so we should be able to play a lot more relaxed and just let it fly!

We saw what happened to Tigers in 2018 when we smashed the home-and-away fixture to finish on top with an 18 and 4 record and clear favouritism!!

Cats will really feel the pressure with the year they have had / favouritism and recent Sept failures...

I’m no North fan, but the Clarko thing just isn’t fair on them. They’ve been talking to him for months and are basically prepared to step aside and let him do what needs to be done and then the bloody druggies come along. If he goes there I hope it fails on him spectacularly.
