I am the only one who doesn’t get the hype around Jamarra Ugle-Hagan?
Always gonna be a third tall imo, more a Gunston type than a Lynch. Good forward but you're not gonna pin your hopes on him clunking them with 3 blokes hanging off him like the true power forwards do.

He’s a gun, but we expect every hyped kid to become the next Gary Ablett senior. Needs to work a little on his set shot though. Can be very hit and miss.

That’s true, not everyone can be GAS, but the issue I see with JUH is that the things he’d mess up when he came in (spraying half-chances and missing set shots), he’s still doing

on another note..... respect where its due to the Cats. How they are still competitive after all these years is incredible. I'm not sure how they are doing it at this point.

I thought we killed these *ers in 2020,. They are the "Jason" of sports

Geelong will NEVER get my respect as long as their asses point to the ground.

That's the problem, not our team not our problem until it happens to us right? You talk about calling the AFL out for years, well this instance the whole AFL community need to tell them it's not good enough.
AFL love to sweep it under the rug, pretend it never happened and if clubs speak up fine them for disagreeing.
It's pathetic

Correct.

But acting like an ump missing a touched call that bounced off a ****ing tricep at close range & pace, where you have NFI of the umps ability to view it from his angle, through a crowded bunch of players no less. Then expect him to "hear it" with 40,000+ crowd screaming on - is some defining example of "more CFL" is utter crap. And thats coming from me, someone who has owned more shares than any on this conversation well before it was "cool" - its tripe.

Focus on the AFL drug scanning its players to avoid ASADA. That's where the possibility for change is, not this shit

Same height as Jack , but already far bigger, stronger than he was at the same age. He has a much bigger body frame than Jack & you could argue he already is equal to Jacks peak athleticism. Where Jack had him covered though was smarts and competitiveness, but that comes in time

Getting Lynch or Cameron to top up a team already contending is a easy decision, but we are at the point where our rebuild is several years behind and risk will need to be made. It's high risk, extremely high reward call.

...I'd do it IF we could manage to do so without giving away top 5 picks, or multiple years of picks. The contract will be huge, but front-end it so we pay more now when we are not competing & more than likely Cap will grow over the decade to make the deal less damaging.

Having 7-10 years of JUH & Bolton up forward together could one day be the best ticket in show.

Remember I wrote in the pre-season that the AFL will try to manipulate so that the Bluebaggers win the flag this year.
It has been a long time for Carlton, they have a large following.
It is good for TV ratings, gate revenues, AFL merchandise royalties.
Win-win.

Umpires gifted C'wood several "close" wins last year, to give them a top four berth.
Then robbed Brisbane of the premiership.
It should have been a Brisbane premiership.
AFL probably thought the Lions would contend this year instead of self-destructing in the off-season.

It’s because they were fixtured Saints at the Cattery where Saints haven’t won for 20+ years. Then non-finalists from 2023 the next 4 x weeks.

We meanwhile get GC away where we’ve always struggled to win, then finalist, finalist, finalist, finalist to start our season.

Once a team’s tail is up with some wins confidence builds and anything is possible. The CFL didn’t want their love child the Cats missing finals again in 2024..

And did u see that ‘mark’ to Stengle which was overturned and gifted them a goal? What a friggin joke to overturn that when we don’t even have accurate camera angles and the umpire called it a point. What was the final margin again?

People make mistakes? No, not good enough. This s**t can cost teams top 2 spots or finals spots, instead we get some BS excuse from the AFL and they all want to sweep it under the rug.

It's not good enough, commentators say you can't review instances in game because it will slow the game down even more? What rubbish, if that questionable decision has a direct scoring involvement it should be bloody looked at. As I said they are all too happy to waste time seeing if a player controlled a mark on the goal line or over it but in those instances where we have a clear video like the close up of Aish's arm and the ball deflection it's oh well people are only human and make mistakes.
No wonder so many people are frustrated with what this game is turning into.

I still don't understand exactly why you are having a massive sooky la-la over Freo losing a game. Ump missed a touched ball that came off the guys upper arm. I've seen 100's, possibly 1000's of worse calls. This is bloody nothing.

The Free kick afterwards for dissent is a more interesting conversation. Its laughable people think the ump made the call to make Carlton win over Fremantle. What is their motivation here? Get a grip. Its Carlton, playing Fremantle, in Adelaide ffs.

compared to Arc-gate is nothings. Compared to Siren-gate, its nothing. get up, wipe away your tears, tug on your "pull ups" and move on champ. Wait till tomorrow before you play your best game. I don't even get why you would think the AFL would prefer Carlton to win the GF over say, ummmmm Fremantle? who has never won one. Or Gold Coast or GWS, who is their love-child? Orrrr, um - St.Kilda - who have won only 1 in 120 years. I don't get the motivation for this at all from an AFL perspective

yeah i know - i made a post only a few days ago showing the difference between the Cats & Tigers first 6 weeks and its laughable.

Still since 2020, when i legit thought we had killed the Cats - they have won a GF and just started the season 4-0 which includes 2 wins in Adelaide + 1 win against a top 8 side from last year. I hate the Cats, but im not a simp that cant acknowledge someone else has done a great job. And they have.

Win-win.

Then on the same theory, our 2017 GF was likely manipulated too.

Cotchin probably should have been rubbed out in the PF & over the entire finals series we were +6 for Frees For/Against overall. We hadn't won a finals for 16 years and a GF for 37 years

One of the most blatant corrupt games of football I've witnessed in a long time. The amount of free kicks the scum get is unreal.
it stinks.....and as we all know the fish rots at the head, big wigs at the AFL definitely in cahoots with the four officiating umpires who had over 50 years experience between them.
