was a comical moment...
love watching GWS just to watch Hogan, man is a fantastic foward who turns games.
Strong marking, straight goal kicking.
Great to see him have on field success
I enjoyed watching him spraying his own teammates in the last quarter and thought we could do with a bit of that. Dow kicks the ball straight in the air - he gets a pat on the back. McIntosh kicks it out on the full - someone gives him a high five

should get in his ear to come home

Also Saturday night is a good time slot, unlike Sunday at 3.40pm.
Yeah. Scheduling our game on 3:40 on the Sunday before the kids go back to school was disrespectful to families. Why wasn’t the game played on Thursday night or at the very least started earlier . The people in charge of the AFL are just completely out of touch with the supporters.

There's a great article in The Age about the difficulties of winning back-to-back titles. It's backed by data and features some interesting player insights. Tom Lynch talks about why Richmond slipped in 2021, though he forgot to mention the CFL.

Funny how people who actually succeed rarely make excuses.

watching some of the western derby fmd reid is a beast. hes basically dusty without the finals chops. yet.
He’s an alpha predator that’s for sure

Hope our offer is enticing enough for him

Bummers tracking our 37 years of shitness nicely. About now they are at 2nd year of Walls era and Heppell is Wayne Campbell.
No, they're 24 years since their last flag. So it's like us in 2004. Walls was 1996-97.

Essington are up to near the end of our Frawley era. Except we did manage to win a final under Spud.

Lol.

Giving the Dyson Heppell Award tonight to Aaron Cadman, who I hadn’t noticed was playing until midway through the third quarter when he ineffectually followed Max Gawn to the football at half-forward
I'm hoping the prestigious Dyson Heppell Award will continue to be presented to deserving winners for years to come.

He will have a meltdown if Richmond ends doing well over the next couple of years.

He won't be bragging about his new toys again
No, but hopefully he'll throw them out the cot, lol.

How many has Sonsie won this year?
Not as many as Heppell. And Heppell probably didn't start any games on the bench, even though it looked like he did.

Unlike Dust, he's a mouthy prick, who was sucked in to non footy / team acts that cost his side. He will have to get used to playing within team structures as opposed to that bloke who tickets himself as the bloke who gets the back page article every week.

he got absolutely crucified by the umps and freo targetting him off the ball. I like his attitude.

Those toys that imported just before Christmas every year and are subsequently bant from the market by Fair Trading.
