Collingwood had the MCC over a barrel. Give us the seats and we'll move to the 'G.
So what are they going to do now...leave if they don't keep the seats?

Back then Collingwood had the power of negotiation because Marvel stadium was an enticing aspect at the time and the MCC were trying to keep them the the G.

In the last 20 years the things have changed and the tables have turned. Marvel stadium tenants Carlton and Essendon memberships have grown massively since 2000 and can't really cater to their members anymore. They are banging on the doors to become a MCG tenant.

If Collingwood doesn't like a new deal which allows the Richmond ponsford stand members to retain their seats then they can always go to Marvel and Essendon or Carlton can take their place at the G.

wines, noodles prius, woewodin, tom mitchell, aaron cooney... the list goes on

they are a horrible list of players arent they

its just a stat padders medal, needs reforms to make it the best player in the competition regardless of position. thats what it bloody used to be, not sure what happened although kb was absolutely robbed of one and so was raines cos they wore a yellow sash

normie and gary ayres medal are far better awards

Modern day it's purely a midfielders award and to an extent stat padders. I mean peak Rance was probably the best player in the comp at one stage but no chance of ever winning a charlie.

Cripps , Cerra , Hewitt then daylight until Walsh comes back from injury , They will most likely have to play the pensioner Ed Curnow for round 1 and Docherty in the middle .
They have 2 very good KPF in Harry & Charlie who kicked 109 goals from 41 games combined but nothing else ?
Lynch & Jack kicked 103 goals from 40 games so hardly any difference
