We had a trick at the Mahogany Room in Crown. If you are a member there, in that room, you get free drinks. So we would walk in with $400 each in cash and go to the Baccarat table. Now Baccarat is basically you bet on the dealer or player winning. If you win then you win 100% of your cash (bet 100 to get back 200). The Casino wins if the banker wins on a 6 (I think it was a six). If this happens then you only win 50% (bet 100 get back 150).

We would sit at the table for hours just talking shit, getting free drinks and always taking contra positions to each other. He would bet banker and I would say "you're full of shit" and bet on the player. After enough time had passed and we had earned enough "crown points" for a free meal, we would go grab something to eat and distribute the cash 50/50.

The worst night we had was losing $150 (75 each), though we had about 5 Whiskies and 4 Cognacs each during that time. Also you can smoke indoors there.

My guess is that if Caro knew about the impending sacking, then so did Dimma way back. That would’ve made his decision to leave the Tigers much easier knowing he has a job lined up.
