Some people forget that players don't determine their own trade value. Not his fault we probably paid a little overs for him but it's far from selling the farm either way.

He might have a punchable face but he's our punchable face now. I'm sure opposition supporters get worked up over Butters' being a little campaigner and Duursma's celebrations, so I gladly welcome another bugger into our side who will piss the enemy off with his name alone - everyone looks better in black, white and teal after all ;)

Welcome to Port Orazio, can't wait to see what you can do with us!

Basically traded a mid 30 pick which would be chewed up for Jones and a future 50ish pick carm the farm.

What pick was Robbie Gray again

For every good late pick there's a gazillion that never amount to shit.

What pick was Robbie Gray again

Roughly the same pick as Hugh Minson, a few later than Mitch Harvey.

Isolated examples don't prove anything.

Risk/reward on this one is OK I reckon. At worst, he's a serviceable Sam Gray depth type player. At best, he's Monfries 2.0. Let's see how it plays out.

And if we don't that future third round pick we lost will really stop our rebuild in our tracks. May as well just save some time and fold now IMO

eh

we currently have nowhere near enough points if an early bid comes for our f/s, and we will have to burn our entire 2021 draft hand of 1 1st round pick to get him.

people are joking if they think were getting good picks next year for the like of Farrell if he leaves.

We gave up a dead pick 29 due to bidding on Jones and a pick in the 50s next year for a proven small-forward who's only real concern is injury issues. Plus that pick 73 as REH and others have mentioned will go up due to bidding so it will be worth more than it currently is anyways.

Even if Jones was out of the picture, what the **** were we going to use pick 29 (probably mid 30s after bids) for in a compromised draft year anyways? It's not pants down lap around the table time but carn it's far from a melt-worthy deal. Plus we gave up this year's first for Georgiades which in hindsight considering the compromised draft is a pure chef's kiss moment from CD. Good trade period overall, Jones and Schofield to ice the cake.

29 and a future 3rd? Ffs this guys better perform.
and for 3yrs... denying others much needed/wanted auditions... still

Tommy Jay n Bass are happy finally getting OF.... Deadleg usurpers.

5th columnists each n everyone of 'em. Are we but a vehicle? n if I'm gunna be taken for a ride put a smile on my dial.

This one don't do it.

A reminder that Jaidyn Stephenson was traded for pick 26.
Has he done anything at all in the last two years?

One of our 3 rucks and a couple of the many half backs will surely be trade bait next year and improve our draft options. Lycett, Bonner, Lienert, Garner most likely candidates?

Dodoro holding out when Essendon knows he is injury prone and a risk for both clubs. Essendon are rebuilding so why would they want him on their list anyway. Everybody here knew his worth, on trade radio and basically, the whole footy world. I am waiting to see what our medicos say and wether he is able to train this preseason...
