1. Brisbane Vs Geelong - possibly playing for top spot. Great to see if the Cats can away from Geelong in a big game.

2. Richmond Vs West Coast - possibly playing for a home final in Week 1. Eagles are the reigning Premiers and can win no doubt on the G, but this Tiger train is in full swing.

3. Adelaide Vs Collingwood - Pies back on track for a Top 4 spot and have no trouble winning away. How will the Crows go coming back from WA?

4. GWS Vs Western Bulldogs - Dogs win this and their spot in the 8 is there for them a week early. Lose and it will come down to the wire. Giants will want to make amends for their shocker in Canberra on Friday night.

5. North Melbourne Vs Port Adelaide - Port have a spot in the 8 sewn up if they win this one. Roos won't want their last home game to be a loss particularly after their dismal game on Saturday at the Cattery.

6. Carlton Vs St Kilda - battle of the interim coaches. Who has their foot in the door?

7. Melbourne Vs Sydney - both haven't had a win in a while. This is a Friday night blockbuster!

8. Hawthorn Vs Gold Coast - Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Melbourne Vs Sydney Friday night footy baby! What a victory for the neutral footy fan. Sock draws of Australia will be looking schmick come Saturday morning
I know what you're saying but at least it's a game that the bookies can't split so hopefully it might be a close one.

Brisbane vs Geelong - Aching for the Lions to knock the smaller felines off. Be delicious if the Cats finish 3rd and have to travel to Perth or Brisbane first week.

Adelaide vs Collingwood - very hard to pick, but go Crows!

GWS vs Bulldogs - Dogs in red hot form, feel they'll run away with it. Too fast and agile for the slow, lumbering Giants. Season on the line.

Port vs North: hope Port lose so the Dogs can consolidate a top 8 spot. Can the Roos bounce back?

#1 Brisbane v Geelong - You can't top 1 v 2 at this stage of the year can you?

#2 Richmond v Eagles - 3 v 4 ... see #1 but replace with 3 v 4. Should be a rippa. Don't want either to win.... bit sick of hearing about Tigers tbh.

#3 Giants v Dogs - Huge game with huge ramifications ... for the Dogs and Bombers!

#4 Freo v Bombers - Can Bombers bounce back or will Freo push them to the brink of missing finals

#5 Hawks v Suns - For Roughy's farewell!

#1000001 Demons v Sydney... my goodness.

1. North vs Port (In a mathematical sense the dockers need Port and Adelaide to lose both games to make finals, there's a chance for an upset here, albeit a little one)

2. Adelaide vs Collingwood (Same reason as above)

3. West Coast vs Richmond (2 best teams in the comp)

4. Brisbane vs Geelong (Brisbane are so good to watch, this will show if they're contenders)

5. Giants vs Bulldogs (Can the dogs push for finals, or will the giants bounce back?

6. Hawthorn vs Gold Coast (Another team with a small chance for finals, vs a team with nothing to lose)

7. Saints vs Carlton (Battle of the interims)

8. Sydney vs Melbourne (this will probably just be bad football)

None.

Football is ultimately a meaningless pursuit. 44 people chasing an inflated piece of leather around a grassed oval as though their lives depended on it, watched on by a seething crowd of subhuman morons with everyone arguing about the rules & throwing childish dummy-spits.

AFL football is really nothing more than a throwback to the tribalism of our caveman ancestry and our desperate need to cling to onto something bigger than ourselves in this cold, dark, unforgiving universe

1. Lions v Cats - Obviously
2. GWS v Dogs - Lots on the line for lots of teams based of this game.
3. Pies v Crows - Don't really like either team, but could be a great match depending on team selections.
4. Hawks v Suns - Going to this with a mate before the big game later in the day, % could be important for the hawks
4. North v Port - Which team will turn up this week to play, its anyones guess!
6. Freo v Dons - Nil all draw?
7. Blues v Saints - Meh
8. Dees v Swans - Probably a close game, but whats the point. Yuck.

Well said BOO.... how about that Roughy, what a hero of humanity.

Just with Friday night I know this is extremely unlikely to happen but let's say tomorrow Longmire and Good win came out and said 'Ok we've struck a deal and we're just going to play one on one attacking 90s style footy all over the ground make it 130 to 125 style scoreline' would that change people's interest level in this one?

Yes but what about the betting over under?
