I'd be a bit annoyed as a Lions supporter. Didn't they win the GF?

It's not so much that there wasn't much of the Pies in the promo, more that it was so much of the Hawks. I really hope they crash next year

Every year the collective AFL media pick a team to pump up. It’s typically a team that has a plausible story, but the ‘experts’ realistically think is unlikely. It’s a free story at the start of the year - when everybody has an opinion, but nobody can prove anyone right or wrong. And it’s a story later in the year when the team fail to meet unrealistic expectations.

Last year it was Carlton getting pumped up.

Sometimes the team actually do get up. In 2023 it was us getting pumped up.

I really dislike the ad breaks after every goal too.

And I much prefer the fox commentary over 7 as well.

That promo certainly didn't motivate me to want to watch all their new shows more of Cornes

Nothing will compare to this. Pretty sure it was when channel 10 still had coverage. The finish showing us winning the flag is amazing
