I think that’s what child psychologists typically refer to as “Encouraging good behaviours through validation and positive reinforcement”

“Oh, little Jakey, you told mummy you need to go to the toilet rather than peeing in your pants - what a good boy! Let’s go and buy an icecream!”

I struggle with the stressed syllable component of letter doubling. Not doubling when it's an i sound gives me palpitations.

Edit: Took me three goes to get palpitations right.
