A bit of fluff, at least it acknowledged the potential upside. Failed to mention the impact of injury to forward and mid players, which resulted in the back line needing to absorb more pressure, and that Howe was swung forward a number of times. Not really concerned with the rating, becuase it depends on a lot of ifs.

They don't know how our defence is going to perform this year anymore than we do. Everything written by everyone is all fluff at this stage of the year, imo

Only thing we do know for sure is we've lost Noble, gained Houston, IQ's trimmed down & we're trialling Reef as a defender.

It has to. Bringing in a Gun AA Half-back flanker has to take some pressure off the others and will allow Frampton to play a more close-checking role. Moving Reef back will also prove to be a genious move (for my mind) allowing Darcy to play his more natural attacking role. Look for a more dynamic and rebounding backline this year!!

While I appreciate the humor of your post, as we’ve seen first hand in our recent games against the Bombers I think it’s where he’s most impactful. I think that’ll be even more so for a team like GWS that won’t be as reliant on his F50 contribution as the Bombers we’re.
