Who failed bigger this season, Melbourne or Port?

Port held top two for a big chunk of the season. Dropped when it counted and missed their home Qualifying Final.

Their form slump was exactly that, a form slump.

Melbourne had huge expectation on them to not repeat 2022. Top 4 finish. Took better form into the finals but fell apart in the finals and out in straight sets.

Hard to pick.

Melb, I think they have more talent and went out straight last year too

There we have it people - Ch7 in Luke Darcy and Hamish McLachlan as well as Giants coach Adam Kingsley have all said Friday night.

Why can’t we have 2 biggest losers

Giants got through injury free by look of it.

It’s gonna be an epic battle. I reckon we match up very well but I’m concerned about Giants’ quick clean hands and speed exiting clearances.

On pre season expectations, Melbourne. On how most of the season played out, Port.

Melbourne really missed a chance at a flag though, whereas always felt Port were pretenders.

Easily Melbourne. Many were still tipping them to get to the GF via Brisbane.

I remember port fans taunting that they’ll beat us in the finals after we pipped them. Those were the days, fun times.

I remember when Hinkley was being a smart arse in his presser before playing us. Can't say I'm disappointed they went out in straight sets.

Is it me or does Toby Greene sound like a Jockey when he talks?
