When I was a kid in the 70s our teacher taught us the new national anthem. She apparently believed ‘girt’ to be a misprint and replaced it with ‘grit’ in her handwritten overhead and handouts. We all learned to sing our anthem like that and if pressed to sing along I still sing ‘grit by sea’ to this day.

Giants have the stronger form and you'd back them to be able to go further than the Saints. Ross the type of coach that can pull a win out though, the Saints kinda challenged the Lions at the Gabba recently.

St kilda really have somehow bluffed their way in the 8 all year. Never seemed a convincingly decent side. Somehow got the wins though.

I'm not sure the Giants have been that good, moreso the Saints have been bad. Giants taking uncontested marks inside forward 50 is unacceptable in a final and the Giants seem to have spare men inside 50 with all the time in the world.
