Yep - you guys were definitely hard done by (seriously!). Even before the start of the season, drawing four 2023 finalists in your double-ups was harsh. Unscheduled improvement from Essendon and Hawthorn has just added insult to injury.

No - I'll admit I come by to read (and laugh at) the "poor us" stuff on the Collingwood board... but I am not here to troll, that is not what I do. The post I responded to has genuine merit - your 2024 fixture was tough the day it was released, and it has become even harder since.
Comparatively, we got lucky - we haven't had Richmond twice for ages, but 2024 was a great year to resume that. And North are a much more "reliable" bottom-six team that Hawthorn (even setting aside the knack the Hawks have for giving you guys all sorts of grief anyway).
The fixture is a weird shape though - we've already played 3 double-ups right now, and when we play you guys again, we'll complete all 6... and there will still be three games to play, against "new" opponents...
