To be fair, I think Simpson has underperformed his whole time at WC. They have had a wonderful list for a long time and could have realistically won multiple flags as Richmond has recently. A dominant ruck, stacked midfield, forward guns and some of the best back men you could hope to find.

As a Freo boy for many years, I must say i'm impressed with the dogturds down at geelong. They have put together a very impressive rebuild since Ross left the building and Longmuir has done a great job. So it's 9 years since they made the grand final and its 4 years since we made it. Not that they've won it but they're ready to go. Hopefully, we can do one better and win it by 2027
