Gawn and Jackson had almost no impact on the game today, running around like they had lead boots on.
Cats will want to be careful not to let that win go to their heads though, still a long time till finals and Melbourne were not playing well.

Geelong games down at that shithole are predictable. Different story at the G come finals.
Not sure where else to put this but Darcy Parish ruled out for a month. We play them in 2 weeks time. So rest be assured that he'll be back by then.

So recently I bumped into Bucks in my building’s foyer. By chance, Tom Papley happened to be in the building too (kambosis fight weekend). Anyway, so while I’m being all giddy talking to Bucks, he mentions that the Pies wanted him (paps) a couple years ago; was so bizarre just standing there while they were talkin footy.
Bumped into Paps a couple more times while he was here. He was such a genuinely nice guy and happy to have a chat. He also approved of my KFC delivery.

So Bulldog player scrambles the ball out of his D50, towards a one on one, but under extreme pressure.
You can hear the umpires ask each other “what was his intent?”
And guess what? Our super ESP ENABLED, MIND READING umpires drilled deep into the doggies players mind and read that his only intention was to get the ball oob.
Im done. Watching the NRL now tonight. So over the guessing game that our great game has become.
edit and while I’m ranting, a 50 was paid for encroachment on the protected area.
The offender simply came in from the side to stand the mark. He has no impact on any decision the player with the ball was going to make regarding play on or not.
Killing our great game by the death of a thousand cuts. And those responsible will continue to pick up their million dollar cheques safe in the knowledge that when the game dies they will no longer be in the job and able to comment from above about how the current administration oversaw its death.

Probably doesn’t matter any more at quarter time. But as a general rule I reckon we want our immediate rivals in the eight to lose games. So We’d prefer the Dogs to win.
If dogs lose there’s less challengers for the 8. I think it’s better for us with maybe only 9 teams challenging for 8 spots
The top eight destiny is in our hands with four winnable games coming up. I’m interested in seeing how high in the eight we can land, not if we can limp into eighth.
Have to make it first. Our last 3 games are bloody tough. And games against adel in adel and ess who have improved are not easy especially without potentially Moore and Degoey. With Moore out and roughy retiring we are quite exposed down back. I just want us to make the 8 at this stage. Hopefully can win the games we should, and maybe take 1 from 3 in the last 3 rounds and make it
