Time for a chill pill. ROK is a gun, and I do not believe he is being 'gifted' games. Let us not become Richmond or Melbourne supporters, calling for the coach's blood after two games. Patience is required. The top 4 teams will lose games, and while we are a long way from finals, there is nothing to say that once the game plan is cemented, after Tippo returns, we may not go deep into September.
Rok is not a gun anymore mate and tippet is miles off

Yer but when does tippo return?? We seem to be getting vague information from the club

And you have just realised that !
You don't reappoint him now, you make him hungry like Clarko
HCF report said he was back to skills training last week. You would think if he is skills training he can't be too far away. A week or two? They have to manage expectations.

Based on the Crows form, is it really necessary to rush him back for the Adelaide trip? Probably the week after to save him from flying into a hostile environment. At least half of Adelaide wants to land a blow on him, so maybe he'll be right after Adelaide... :)

Go watch Horses presser mate , Tippett is miles away has not even started agility/turning quick etc yet and also said this is the slow period of rehab now. He still has not done one main session the hole off season.

yeah just send him for surgery surely?

if he cant even turn when running yet how far is he away from AFL, surely not even possible til round 11- round 12 and if goodsey is behind him?

I once had a torn tendon. I was told by a specialist that for it to repair it needed to get blood supply to it. Would one presume that the tendon that connects to Longmire's Brain is lacking blood supply ?

Just for you Punts, the jungle drums are starting to beat re the game plan and how Franklin is being used. Momentum is gathering in the media who are more of a chance of being heard than the average punter who thinks the game plan is shite. With due respect and without being chauvinistic even a female rung into 3AW tonight & questioned. My point being a majority of supporters are questioning it. Before I get howled down and told coaching staff would know a bit more than the majority of supporters as I've described them, no they are not AFL coaches but they are not ******* idiots either.

Summed up beautifully here.

“I watch the Swans quite a bit, and I have seen a bit of them in the pre-season,’’ Kennelly said.

“The main thing to come out of the pre-season is that their key forwards didn’t contribute at all to any of the training, and its hard to come to Round 1 and then just say, “Let’s make it work”.

“The midfield were cracking in but the forward structure was horrendous. The scrutiny will go back to Buddy Franklin but other players need to help out.”

If it stays the same its only going to get louder and louder ( my opinion is there is no short term fix )and fingers should get pointed at him not Buddy. I have copped it today from mates saying how funny will it be when they read out Maxwell farking name on brownlow night. Horses presser today didn't give me much hope just talked about polish. Swans Facebook is an interesting read some calling for his head but I will hold my judgement a little longer.

During the first quarter (I think) on Saturday Derickx kicked the ball straight to one of the pies and someone behind me yelled "come on Longmire, what are you doing???"

I almost turned around and asked them for their bigfooty username.
Haters just got to hate.

Point 1 100% spot on.

Point 2 agree and it is a big worry because he seems to trot out the same semantics every time we do play poorly and does not really touch on the areas that all and sundry know exist. He seems to think his quotable quote of
" We need to make sure we play the way we want to play " Well guess what John ???? Every team goes out every week to execute that !!!!

Not ready to call for his head just yet that would be stupid but he is seriously starting to worry me.
To be honest if he proves me wrong and we some how happen to make it to the 2nd last week or the last week of the season based on the way things currently look, and i don't necessarily mean the 0-2 start then the man is a genius of few words who has ice running through his veins, because make no mistake he is well and truly under the blow torch at the moment.

Two losses in a row ? Catastrophe !

Throw out the coach. Forget the fact that it was Jack's first game and he was rusty, that Goodes is out, that Tippet is out and LRT was sorely needed. Plus, TBH, we were statistically rooted at ANZ against the ferals. They have had the wood on us at that ground for a long time. A couple of exceptions (aberrations) to prove the rule.

I was very pleased to see Jetta show some real form. For me he's a real wild card in our team. Franklin showed some improved signs and his efforts will bear fruit.

If we're going to have some poor form I'd rather have it at this time of the year than at the pointy end. The only concern I have is fitness. We've faded twice in the last quarter. That should even up with more game time in the legs. The real issue later in the season will be injuries.

Horse said a couple of weeks away. I said after Adelaide, so perhaps I'm a week out. He might be ready for Rd 5. Seriously - Adelaide, North, Freo, Melbourne. When is he required? Probably for the Freo game at the SCG. I'd take your money that he will be playing for that one.

Take into account everything in your post Bungee and I am not advocating Longmire's demise but there are some concerns and based on all points in your post being reasonable when do you think it would be time time to be concerned ?

Longmire on couch

Had to work on contested possies and although improved fell apart

Had a good pre season a lot of platers had great and were in good touch

Poor v gws. Better on weekend, some of our defenders better etc

Asked about buddy impact on club internally.... Leaders havent said to him, we dont believe so at all, buddy training hard to have an impact on ground

We try to focus on his preparation

Heard about parents ringing club worried said just not true

Asked about hanners facing leaders and longmire speaking, said not true only dennis carrol and dean moore in middle of 2013 and hanners had an all aus season

Asked about okeefe being dropped then being poor, highlighted same thing said about brad sewell last year confident okeefe can do the same, played a jude bolton role

Speculation external forces disruptive, says he hears diff things but need to ignore it and not get caught up and focus on preparation

Asked about reid spare and maxwell spare did he consider neutralising maxwell.... In 2nd and 3rd had a play 10 scoring shot swing and had composure going fwd so kept reid back but didnt have the composure in the last

Crows 0-2 swans 0-2 will tippett play.... No but last year choir met us and no he wont be there is a couple of weeks Way first training session friday

After we get our preferred forward structure in place. If Tippet and/or Goodes alongside Buddy can't straighten us out then we have a problem. Our forward line structure cannot work while we just have Buddy and a swingman (Reid). At present, opposition teams are exploiting our lack of forward personnel.

Dunstall showed some pretty telling stats , worrying is an understatement

The 1 win in last 7?

They seem less concerned than swans fans though i was a bit surprised. Sheehan going down drama road

Why worry? You can't pick the side, you can't talk to Horse, you can't influence the players.

You are along for the ride. Celebrate the highs, feel down for the lows.

But worry is useless.

Mate there is a pattern that we are loosing that is concerning most people and it has been happing since the 2nd half of last season and has carried on to this year , regardless if Tippett is in or not our structure shouldn't change that much if we are playing Dericx/Pyke down there anyway. We are getting heavily scored against and we cant seem to kick more than 10 goals a game ( no just the last 2 games ). Dunstall showed some telling stats and he is not the only one saying there are concerns

Jason Dunstall ? Stats talk about effect, not cause. For instance, the stats might suggest that we lost because we can't kick more than 10 goals per game but they don't say why we didn't kick those goals. The cause IMO is we've had underdone personnel and injuries hurting us since 2nd half of last season. As regards Pyke/Derickxxx. Pyke is not in form and, with all due respect, Derickxxx is not fit to dab his silken handkerchief upon the sweet scented moisture of Tippet's sweaty brow.
