Next three games are very interesting - two of the hardest away games in the comp, then an up and coming team primed for finals. It looks dangerous but is also a great opportunity.

Hawks in their prime recently would drop the odd game against Richmond or whoever, but when they got a stretch of games against potential flag rivals home or away they just rolled through them and cemented their top two place.

If the boys want to build a reputation for being a dominant side this is how you do it. Any less than 2 out of 3 would be considered poor internally I would imagine.

Plus, surely they're due to actually play well and kick reasonably straight at the same time at some point soon?!

Good win vs Richmond, would like to see our early 5-6 goal deficits eradicated by now though.

If we can go into the bye 8-2, or 7-3, and with the way the current season is going we could certainly be primed for a top four finish. We're currently withering the difficult part of the draw, and hopefully we come up on top more times than not.

A 7-3 start would be a very good result given the late start to the pre-season and the injuries.

7-3 before the bye is an absolute must. Two huge games. Then re-set, reload for what will be a very interesting final 12 weeks. Absolutely no gimmes.

7-3 would be sitting pretty, given everyone has lost two games already and the two favourites have significant injury problems and form issues respectively.

I'd probably take 6-4 if someone offered it now tbh, given recent form. Then reload with the returning players post-bye and try to finish something like 10-2, which would obviously be hard but not impossible.

At the moment it looks like 16 wins with a decent percentage might even be enough for top 2, but we'll see how it plays out. What we do need to focus on is winning some of these 8-pointers against teams also competing for the top 4, because it's a double whammy when you lose. So yes, a win or two over the next two weeks is essential.

1-3 was the end result.

Very disappointing although we could have won all 3, the lose to GWS now really hurts.

Unfortunately our next 2 from when I originally posted look much harder in the Saints and Sydney in Sydney

We'll beat St Kilda, not sure about Swans. Still have tough games against Crows away, GWS again, Eagles again, Port, Melbourne

Time for a new one on our NEXT four games! 1 and 3 was as bad as I was willing to accept. That said we looked like winners in each of those losses without pulling it off. I think the Dockers will be interesting this year, and losing to Geelong, GWS and the Eagles (at home) isn't the end of the world. We still haven't lost a game at home so let's hope that continues.
