I should know who you're talking about but I'm afraid I have NFI. There were a few stupid do's getting around the comp this season past. But having a sooky lala in the coaches office is taking it to a whole new level. Lucky there weren't any blades handy

I saw a thread on this, and to be honest it sounds to me like the story may have been exaggerated somewhat. Young Tom obviously did well enough to be invited back to train with them.

black is a different style of player.... more of a quiet achiever. Cousins is an extrovert, the likes we have not seen since voss.

Maybe in leadership and preparation, but I would say you learn as much or more about the game from someone who beats you in a contest. We have leadership and preparation covered.

yeah, but i was thinking along the lines of player positioning and onfield coaching that voss was a master of.

not to downplay Black's worth though.

Brown does this role very well, but he is not in the midfield ...... all the time.

anyhow, this thread was about PSD.

Knows we need a back up ruck-imagine if Charman and Leuy were both injured.Rix would be better than Tippett at this stage-seems like a worse case scenario back up.

A conundrum if I ever saw one.

Forward line - we certainly lack a small forward and now, given Hooper's situation (which didnt surprise me one iota), this almost becomes a priorty.

Ruck - we got smashed in clearances/hitouts to advantage last season. Charmans style has almost gone out of fashion and is Leuey up to it yet?? Lose one of those and we're behind the eight-ball straight up as you cant win games without winning the ball.. Rix couldnt get a game ahead of Clarke, King and Blake - and he aint exactly young (he'd be mid 20's?).

Watched the 05 and 06 grand finals in last couple of days....pick Davis.

Want proof of him being more than just a forward, watch him when the game was on the line in 4th quarter in 05.
