yeah, i think it misses the comedic sweet spot by just a bit. i can appreciate the russell coite level of silliness. the guy's a bit of a dag and thinks he's more important than he is, kind of like the strachaunie character, but the interaction with the players and club officials is slightly off for me. the ending saves it, though.
lol. The ending doesn't "save it". The ending is what it is all about.
It is well put together. Nice low key humour. Very watchable. The only thing for me is there should have been a cobbler in the background somewhere. Perhaps doing some cobbling. Next time.

at least it's not as totally ghey as the saints one, although you do have to admire the saints for having a laugh at themselves in the face of persistent arsehattery.

it'll start with the opening of law and order SVU. then a couple of blokes sitting on milk crates in an alley smoking though a crackpipe. one of them lifts his shirt to show a bombers jumper. fade to black.
He is "the unsung hero" so yeh I recon it made sense.
This one deserves the win. If I were able to vote on social media, as much as I love the Freo one, this would get my vote.
