Havent they been cleaning the club out over the last few years. i thought most of the trouble makers had gone!

First of all how did the blacks go today? And second of all what would be the problem with wally down there from what i have heard he is very much a club person who has been there most of his life, how could what is going on down there be his doing when he is not the coach or on the commitee, sounds like there is a lot of shit going on down there. A real shame for a once great and proud club.

Rick, you mentioned tosssers [plural] but have only named one ie wally?, which is singular. Care to name the rest so we all have some idea what you are trying to get across.

Can you expand further for us Rick . I know a fair few people down there, though I'm not involved. By saying " the blokes who run the place" , at what level are you aiming your criticism .

Given your unwillingness to respond Rick I'd say you sing more like a canary than an eagle.

To put it quite bluntly All Blacks would not have been able to field a side this year if it wasn’t for Wally, may not be perfect but if it wasn’t for his efforts they would have locked the doors 9 weeks ago and none of us would be playing at all. Doing all he can under pretty dire circumstances and i take my hat off to the bloke!

Woulda felt good moosh, waking up on sunday and not having been beaten:D
LOL

Match of the Round - Bright V Whorouly. Hopefully both sides are at close to or full strength. Should settle premiership favourtism.

A fine day predicted so should draw a huge crowd.

Still no Brent Green, Hamstrings still not responding to treatment. Hopefully early July.

Brighty, didn't you guys pick up a few injuries against Milawa. How are they shaping up.

News crosses my desk that there will be a few missing this week

Rob Paolo has a broken hand, Ty Baxter is out, and Cameron Alexander is gone for the season with a knee. Huge losses but Baxter & Paolo will be back sooner rather than later.

Green failed a fitness test yesterday in order to prove his fitness this week, but I have it direct from the man himself that he will be back next week.

Looking at the draw you have benalla after whorouly, surely you'd rest those guys until after rd 10.

Benalla's Brendon Fear has been invited to train with the Vic Country squad. Having a great year, derserves to play rep footy.

if its the brendon fear that i use to play against he doesnt deserve to be.is it the same one that use to sheep dog all of his kicks out at devenish?if it is vic country side to get smashed.:D

Looks to be a great result for bright. Any news from the game? Who played well? Did the taller whorouly side stretch them for height at all?
Benella wouldnt be looking forward to the trip to bright next week!!!

Showtime

I believe it is the Brendan Fear that used to play out a Devenish. Must admit I can't say anything about his kicking back then as I didn't see him play! But the Vic Country side is a District League State Team that will play a similar side from South Australia.

A very good win for bright considering they didnt have a bench after half time, brights midfield were well on top.
Whorouly's tall forwards wern't able to take advantage of the in experienced and smaller bright defenders

Nah disagree. Had the same team from day one. All the other teams investing big dollars in the seniors, while their other two grades are less competitive. KV 3rds -120+, 2s -80.... Panthers havent spent any money on exports in the seniors and it's showing on the scoreboard.

The senior team bust there arse on saturdays, but up against superior talent it can seem like an up hill battle. They only need a couple of Key position players and things can turn around.

Back from the Hills where it was a great result for the Mountain Men. Losing 2 players before Quarter time and no bench after half time.

Scott Chalwell played the entire 2nd half in the ruck against a bigger and stronger opponent but made a contest and got his fair share of hit outs which gave the midfield first use.

Nightingale, Kelly, Paola and Jones kept on driving it forward where Chris Hickey presented well and kicked some crucial goals.

Lucien Deane-Johns was the difference, he got 4 or 5 and really showed his class.

What I have noticed this season is the guys who came from the O&M really have bought that touch of class, ability to finish when required and take control.

McPherson played ok without dominating, Mareck kicked 5

Bright would be very happy considering the injury list, they have the next few at home against the Kelly Boys and Benalla.

Bring on the Showgrounds
