bright 5 goals
benalla 10 goals
whorouly 5 goals
tarra 2 goals
kv 10 goals
moyhu 30+ morie 18
doon dogs 20 goals
Greta 2 Gls
Benalla 10 Gls
Glenrowan 2 Gls
Milawa 4 Gls
King Valley 12 Gls
Moyhu 30 Gls (20 for the big fella)
Doon 35 Gls

I think the last two games are going to be a white wash, I have heard some good things from over Boonie Doon way and I think they are going to be very competitive. I also think that if K/V have a full list then they will win by 25gls.

Virge what's going on with Welshy, heard Tatong are still hammering away at him...
Spoke to Tatong's coach last week and he said they were hoping Welshy would sign after the carnival. I don't think Moyhu would be shattered if he left anyway, he isn't really a bloke that you want around your footy club.

tatong have also signed a young forward pettit, (picola league) kicked plenty of goals as a junior about 20yrs old, impressed at tatong praccy game kicking 11 straight. may be some form of target up forward for the pies

Looks like his clearence is in the process

If Mitch Barry is getting $50 a game there then what would Welshy be worth?

IF Mitch barry is getting $50 then welshy should be on $500 because he is 10 times the player MB is. Probably more than 10 times actually, an established big man who can dominate games and has a league medal vs a 20 something guy who was just a mid range 2's player at his previous club?

Mitch Barry is getting $0 end of story...

$50 a game is nothing when it has now come down to a numbers game, as in he who has them survives.

I've herd some figures coming out of a few clubs now for ordinary footballers that make u realise just how desperate times are getting for these teams......

The sad fact Moosh is that you're very right....In the next 10 years footballers will be a commodity, a get harder to find. The unfortunate part is that average footballers have already realised this and know that clubs will be forced to wave $$$$ at them to get players to win flags.

Figures released recently show that regional clubs currently spend an average of 30-35% of their income on player payments.....The powers that be suggest that clubs should aim to reduce that to 5%... yes 5%... and re invest the balance back into infastructure etc, etc.

These are the same powers that be who FAILED to address the leakage of 14-17 yo kids from the game over the last 5-10 years and now condone attrition of clubs and leagues.

I keep harping back to the fact that some clubs rate Premierships ahead of culture and longevity, spend their time chasing their tails and f#$%^&g country footy.....Amen:)

Yes I read that email from the VCFL. Didn't it take 4 people six months to come up with all that crap.
AFL assistance would be handy in some ways. Imagine what the local clubs (if any) around west sydney would be getting from the AFL to promote Aussie Rules, whilst the areas where it all began and are now struggling get fook all

Hi Sparra,
Coming from one of the four senior clubs in GWS's area in western Sydney, I can assure you we have received absolutely nothing so far and haven't even been contacted in any official capacity. Not necessarily saying we should be, but just letting you know the money hasn't filtered down below GWS at this stage.

That's interesting - I would have thought the AFL would be flooding the schools and local clubs with whatever their needs may be for Aussie Rules.

Violet Town played Nth Wang on Sat in a 6 quarter game. Not a great deal between Nth Wang and Blacks

they would have to have some plans to lure another ruck, have a few young blokes, although they lost one to swanny , Hugh Edmondson
