NO DOUBTING THE STANDARD OF YARRAWONGA AND ALBURY TIGERS OVER THE PAST 4 SEASONS... IMO, THEY WOULD DEFEAT ANY OTHER CLUB IN COUNTRY VICTORIA AND THE MELBOURNE SUBURBAN COMPS.
Wang Magpies 5th... Played Benalla on the weekend (first hitout for both sides) and it was a fairly even contest from all accounts! Can anyone add anything regarding that match?

Yesterday's Border Mail reported that Brandon Symes will play for Yarrawonga while not playing for Williamstown... He might have to play two's at both clubs... Yarra have signed McKee and Ottens (who would both be ahead of Symes in the ruck division) and Williamstown have signed Cam Wood and usually have Will Minson running around also!

Sportsbet have released the betting for the O & M. This is the first country market released for the year which should make Fev happy! What are the thoughts, can anyone see other than a Yarra/Albury grand final? Which team is most likely to prevent that from happening? What is the estimated wages bill for those top two sides?

Symes will play plenty of Development footy at Williamstown and the club believes that he is a senior prospect down the track. Impressed all so far! Won't see him at Yarra in 2013

At those prices, yarra and Albury are both good value, have a $100 on each of them and you'll end up in front. If someone else manages to make the grand final it'd be surprising, but as someone has pointed out previously on here, Rovers were a kick away from doing that last year and Lavi were a kick away the year before, so it is possible. I would suggest north as the most likely to do this. They've got so many unknowns and have recruited some genuine quality!! Still yarra for me though.

Yeah I heard that Lovett one today as well, as you said nop, expect a major signing from the hoppers again shortly, really good to see a club other than the big two signing some big name players

Hey all, am heading up for a weekend (well Friday and Saturday) of O&M football. Was just wondering the thoughts on the Friday night game at Lavington. Is there a chance of it being completely chockers and them locking people out, or just rock up whenever?

you wont have that problem at all.Lavington facility can accomodate up to 15000 .... and there wont be anywhere near that sort of crowd. You will be safe to get in no doubts. Enjoy your weekend ,
