No they haven't, we have consistently headed the premiership table for the majority of it's 100+ year history, nobody even comes close to the dominance we exerted in this respect, it is a total blowoutDestructive said:Carlton/Essendon.
They've been more consistant over a longer period of time.
Damn right you are like Manchester United.Gunder said:1st club to reach 1000 wins, still have the most wins, most finals wins, most finals appearances, 4 premierships in a row, longest period at head of the premiership tabel, most supporters, most talked and written about, most famous etc etc.... just a matter of time til we have the most premierships again, we are like Man U, there are waves, cycles of success and lows, just a matter of time

Now where's that Supporters figure come from?????? Or do you just make them up as usual???tess said:If we are talking about Premierships won then we slot into third place.
If we are talking about finishing position on average then we are clearly no 1 with daylight to second in Carlton with daylight to third in Essendon.
Supporters again Collingwood 1st, Essendon 2nd and Carlton 3rd. The 2nd and 3rd places will reverse as Carlton reclaim their rightful place behind the Pies in the coming years.

It will take 100+ years for Carlscum to dominate the head of the premiership table as Collingwood have over the last century.... not much hope of that anyway with Big Eddie building another dynastyLeapingBenHarper said:That's like saying Port are a great side in recent times.... Nobody gives a toss where you finish, it's all about WINNING the last game of the year!!! Carlton without doubt over time are leaps and bounds ahead of Collingwood...

Rocca flys High said:We've got a lot of new blood, and a new and better factilies mean better chances
So, therefore, 2005 is the pies year
If not, maybe Sydney
Gunder said:And lets not even ask the question where Carlton and Essendon would be now if they had gone through the drought we did, would'nt have 2 supporters to rub together, this is also the mystique of Collingwood and why they are considered the greatest
