The whole night is an opportunity for the club's administration and social media team to huff their own farts.

A glorified meet and greet for the fans who have to pay top dollar for airline food and a chance for a photo with players who have mentally checked out.

I thought Clurey handled himself at the podium well given the poor form of the Magpies team and his lack of real opportunity to make the Power side.

I guess he's signed that long deal and like a few hung around a bit too long. Go Max Power.

I logged off around 8:30 last night. Found the proceedings to be pretty lame and cringeworthy so did something else instead.

Did Tredrea get a mention at all on the night?

Lots of back patting amongst the usual suspects but didn’t hear him get mentioned once.

It staggers me the way this club operates but still wants to live if the rich history of the Magpies.

They don't deserve to ware that jumper, all they have done is water it down and disgrace it and all the people that have given their all to build this club.

**** all of them pieces of shit the lot of them. This is not just a Ken thing, this goes top to bottom, including the players.

A soft poor culture of losing and low achievements.

Rozee finishing 4th lol.

Especially because he was like 7th after round 18 (which was too high anyway), and then had a completely shit end to the season anyway.

So we get the Cahill medal. Excellent.

Third gets Bruce Webber award. Again very good.

But second gets JC Runner Up medal?

Why don't we make the runner up the Russell Ebert Memorial Award?

Russell didnt do 2nd placed.

They originally wanted to have 2nd place as the Gavin Wanganeen medal after he retired but the fans didn't like that so that's how it became the best player under 21 and we still haven't named 2nd place.

Publicly they're always going to endorse their coach. Doesn't matter who's there.
What they do isn't endorsing, they proclaim their love for a middle aged man that is supposed to be a professional coach.
Imagine the Australian womens swimming team acting the same way, it would get heads turning.

I know one thing, If I were an opposing player and wanted to niggle, I would be using the "I love my daddy line every time".
