Ah Chee left the ground before Cripps. Maybe check the tape before making a claim that can be so easily refuted.
wot? he's only got one leg now? Doesnt look like a jump to me - looks like a lazy lean in for a milk a free - like half the Brissy players go for in every contest

Comedy Capers from the AFL.

A well known Melbourne Law Firm is promoting a class action against the AFL on behalf of players featured in this video who were suspended. The case revolves around claims they were denied procedural fairness and that they were looking at the ball while secspitating their opponent.

In other news Michael Christian to be replaced by Rex Hunt. AFL believes Hunt makes more sense.

The same as Carlton?
Carlton plays 6 interstate matches. That one extra match interstate might be important?
Most Victorian teams lose about 2/3 at least of interstate matches.
We’ve lost to Fremantle, Gold Coast, Adelaide and Brisbane interstate.
Won against West Coast and GWS.

Next year, Carlton should get the same deal Collingwood get every year.. a maximum of 5 interstate.

Freo should get the same deal 😘

Not every player who causes a head injury is reported and suspended though are they ? Don't be a softy. Accept the game for what it is otherwise the game that you know will no longer exist.
Cripps had every opportunity not to take out Ah Chee’s head. There is nothing soft about protecting player’s heads

For the legal buffs and admittedly this source is a Carlton fan and a lawyer provides a good summary of why the appeal was allowed. Basically not presenting the evidence that he was bumping Ah Chee not contesting it so that Cripps lawyer or Cripps could argue against it and then relying on it to reject Cripps appeal was a legal * up by the AFL.

Thanks for posting and of course now you (and everyone else who can read) do understand that the Appeal decision pretty much said that the tribunal was a Kangaroo court and that there was no basis presented during the tribunal hearing that could allow for the Tribunal to make its conclusions in the first place - riiiiight?

So Maynard... did you hope he would get off or were you all for him getting suspended?

You can be happy for a player to get off and also acknowledge that he shouldn't have.

Chose to jump. Had time to turn his body, and protect himself whilst knocking an opposition player in the head.
Apparently not reasonably foreseeable. Not reckless. Just an accident that he had time to avoid, and didn’t.
A full air twist, a pike and a star jump landing would have been “reasonable” within the time allocated.

You're using a still image?
Maybe watch it in motion?
You cant be this dumb. Your claim was that Ah Chee left the ground after Cripps, a still image proves that you were incorrect.
The below is the still image just as Cripps is about to launching off his foot and notice that Ah Chee is already in the air.
