3 possessions to half time.

What does he bring to the table?

He's got no clue how to find the ball. No idea.

He'll probably have a reasonable second half, 10 or so possesions and a goal, but his first halves are disgraceful.

48 possesions over the past 4.5 games. Seriously man?

He applies good frontal pressure from the forward line. That is why he hasn’t been moved to the midfield. For him to move into the midfield, Neil Craig would have to find someone who applies just as much frontal pressure as a forward.

Him playing as a forward has stalled his development. Typical Neil Craig crap.

If we had a good coach, he would be moved onto the ball so he could get into the game, but I doubt he will.

yeah he got moved out of these straight away.

he should be left in the middle all game. he's probably confused about his role, like tippett was when he was rucking last year. just plonk him there and let him learn. same with sloane. have them run forward with the footy, not take the footy in the forward line.

You realize he needs to be able to DEFEND on the half back flank?

Also he could be our game breaker in the 2nd half. I really hope he fires and has a 20 possession half!

Play him as a loose man in defence with spurts in the middle. If he gets tagged in the backline, that is when you move him forward and tell everyone else to get the **** out. He won't lose too many one out contests with a tagger.

The above represents an example of what is known as a "coaching move". A revolutionary idea that is yet to reach West Lakes.

your problem is none of those guys actually gave you run off the hbf.

As for Patty, shows so much but currently looks like the most over rated player in the AFL. But hang tuff, he'll come good. Craig has trusted others to do the work in the middle and has played Patty forward as you haven't anyone else that can play down there. Time will come soon when he's playing 80% in the guts and he'll be gun. Like I said, hang tuff.

He needs to run at the ball for a time - give him the responsibility of run and carrying the ball from this position.

He plays the position well jst give him the chance.

Oh sorry forgot this is the AFC we dont make changes - we pigeon hole blokes and wont move them to try and change the tide of the game.
