If we only had the seed this year. We would be playing finals without a doubt. That guy was a gun and a good player for a very long time. One of my favourites. Hope his concussion issues subside and he and his family can enjoy his retirement.

Bad taste, but had to smile at the comment on the AFL announcement (via facebook) that stated he would be offered a contract by port......
Glorious
Still has symptoms every day
His loss from 2021 can't really be overstated. We're lamenting that lack of 100-200 gamers that just roll out and perform on gameday and he was one of the best at that in those lean years. To have him play a career best year and then not play again was a big loss.Putting to one side the disappointment momentarily he was a pretty canny pick up at the time and for the price paid.
Bit unlucky in 2017 to get injured at the wrong time and have a pretty settled line up in front of him but thought he was one who could hold his head pretty high from 2018 to 2021 (which is a pretty limited selection).
Still has symptoms every day
He was contracted until the end of this year. Signed an extension in Oct 2021 (I'm guessing before the concussion). Might as well get the best out of the system while he was still technically in it.I’m truly surprised it took this long to come to this conclusion. I honestly expected it last year. I guess Paul and the club were hoping for a miracle. No one wants their career to end this way. This is why we have to protect the head. I’ll argue with anyone who thinks the AFL has gone “soft” because while they are trying to protect kids from life long deficits, I’m all for it. I’ll tell you something else. The brain doesn’t heal the same way as a bone, if at all.
Thanks Seeds! I really hope you a safe journey in your next chapter
