cheers guys, yeah my current desk is around 1800x580 and I definitely want a bit bigger next due to all my music gear and exact height adjustment for sitting like dwwaino said even if I won't stand too much

I'll keep looking around, nothing seems exact right size when I mix and match a base and something from Bunnings etc and I'm not too sure about getting custom size thing cut but maybe I could investigate that to save a bit
Keep an eye on Ozbargain for sales, Zen Space seem to have specials fairly often, you might be able to buy a frame from them and bolt a table top or kitchen bench top to it to get the size you're after

how's the sturdiness at sitting height dwwaino like it just feels solid as any other desk? the only reference I have of consumer standing desks is one my mum has and it wobbles a bit at any height lol but it was just a cheapy small one from officeworks I think

Not to shill Omni desk but they also do a 2000x760 but it's a monster. Also wait until they go on sale because they're pretty expensive. I've had an Ikea sit/stand before that was a fraction of the price but you can definitely feel the difference in quality. If you're looking for it to hold mixing desks, monitors (speakers) and other music stuff then quality might definitely be a consideration.

No wobble at all and it weighs a tonne. I have it on carpet though.

I have the Pro in the medium size black. Even if you give it a click and have a look, if you use social media I'm sure it will magically start showing up in your ads then keep an eye out for a special.

EDIT: just noticed they have a site wide sale on now actually.

yea it'll have monitors and full size midi keyboard along with dual screens and probably bit more

and yea I started looking at the desks last week now all my ads are every desk brand in australia lmao

I have an Omnidesk. Never use it to stand but adjustable to the exact height is nice. It feels quality too. I went with 1500x760 to fit my area and it fits two monitors and a tower. One of the monitors is on an angle but it's still a reasonable fit.

I’ve got an omnidesk and I love it, I’ve got the 153cm wide and use the sit stand which has been very helpful for my back. I use it for working from home as well as my usual computer gaming and stuff.

Mine’s rock solid.

The depth of the omnidesk is a fair more than your current desk and they go up to 183 wide I think.

Close to pulling the trigger as I'm still WFH two days a week. Even with the tower all good? Just worried with mine being hefty plus two monitors.

Most dual motor standing desks have a weight limit somewhere between 100-130kg - a PC and 2 monitors shouldn't be anywhere near that heavy

It’s all good, rock solid. I think it’s rated at 120kg

What's a good ATX case?

The Hyte Y60 seems to be good but $$$

Any specific requirements? Full or mid tower? A lot of them are just different flavours but I generally narrow it down to anything that can support 3*120mm on the front with a dust filter and minimum 2*120mm exhaust. This filters lots of the meme cases. From there it depends on hardware like cooler, fan and RAM clearance, will the PSU and cable management suit my use case etc.

pretty much what I want, need to be able to support 3x 120mm intake, 2x40mm exhaust + able to support a 'normal' size high end GPU like a 6900XT

Off the top of my head something like the Fractal R7 if you don't have any bling to show off. I'm sure there are cheaper from a brand with a smaller name or that doesn't come with any fans, but that's the first that comes to mind and should be able to fit any modern chonky graphics card. All black, no windows and no frills but priced around the stuff like the NZXT h710. Phanteks P400 good price but has a window. I think it might actually be a little bigger than the R7. At the end of the day as long as it fits everything, can hold the fans your want and has decent air flow capability then it's just personal flavour IMO.
