We'll find out in due course but it would be crazy to trade Johnson hoping that Jackson will become a very good midfielder. What if the experiment fails, or if Darcy goes down again and we need Jackson to ruck?

If they want to play Jackson on ball that's great. Johnson goes to the bench or to Peel. You don't roll the dice and trade a player on an experiment.

So what Ive been saying is that the actual Freo football department want Luke to play onball to unlock hs true potential and thaey don't see it as an experiment as he plyed onball for periods in 2023 where he dominated in those brief periods.

If Darcy goes down Reidy sure as hell should be playing and Dogga would still be the second ruck. I wasnt even saying Johnson would be traded but if we want Picket it would invole more than picks in my opinion so someone like Johnson would be asked.

Yeah, I didn't see it but apparently happened near quarter time. The way I heard it reported the suspension was for 3 weeks, and Swans took it to the tribunal to lessen it, but Grey's evidence made it a worse outcome. Clarke was their acting captain.

Pretty sure it was 3 with an early plea but 3 ruled him out for finals anyway so they took the chance

Yes, Harding better have a good defo lawyer and a very healthy insurance policy to cover his payout. Just one of the most disgraceful pieces of commentary in the last few years - including overseas commentators.

Also, if we want to get into history of dobbing at WAFL tribunals, Harding should listen to some of the Swans own turn ups at WAFL tribunal especially in the 80s and early 90s. Swans dobbed so many players in again and again and again. Really stunning stuff from Harding, if he doesn't apologise he is going to get absolutely creamed in court. Even if Brady lets it go, so many Peel officials just trashed by Harding for no good reason.

Also by leaving that audio up, both "13sports FM" and "Lost WAFL", or whichever Eagles supporter manages that Twitter account, are also leaving themselves open to significant defo claims for publication. Just amazing that garbage is out there as an official "media interview" which devolves into a diatribe of personal slander running for over 15 minutes of airtime.

Just amazing that anyone thinks that it is even up for debate that the Swans player deserved a suspension. Peel have a duty of care to Brady (or any other player) just like any other employer, and they can hardly ignore an incident like that, especially under the insurance policies and duties of care that apply to professional sporting organisations under the modern WHS legislation.

Just stunning that Harding would launch such a sustained rant like that, also such a bad look for WA footy media to have that trash rant still up for public consumption. I know folks chase clicks, but supporting outright sustained slander of an individual and a club on a publicly broadcast radio licensed show is just all kinds of magnitude of stupidity. And we so desperately need the small and community radio stations to survive - yet one stupid act like this could (if someone complains to ACMA) cost the station their license and also have such a huge defo payout that folks are bankrupted. Just amazing. And sad.
