It looks like the Captain's Club seats are $720 & $830 which is:
all of blocks 112 to 124; 140-146
Pt of blocks 101; 109-111; 125-127; 147-150; 512-524; 537-549

That seems to be a lot of CC Members.

Not sure what room they'll use like the Billy Walker Room was at Subi. Seats spread on both north & south side & both main tiers.

$720 seems to be Priority 2 for GF tickets if WCE make GF;
$830 are Priority 1

I reckon Noteholders will still get GF Priority. And I don't know how many $830 seats there are to determone if they are guaranteed a WCE GF ticket. Might have to do a rough calc. It looks like they are mostly (if not solely) on north side

Edit: just saw the quote in the WCE thread. If that's correct then Noteholders don't get default first GF access. Basically determined on Perth Stadium seating level.

To answer my own query - the River Room replaces the Billy Walker Room

https://membership.westcoasteagles.com.au/mobile//#/membership-faqs

And River Room

The River View Rooms on the western end provide spectacular views across the Swan River and can operate independently or combined, accommodating a total of 1,500 people in one connected space.

River Rooms (3) Level 3 west 500 per room (total 1500)

OK another comparison on pricing. Eagles are calling it A reserve, B reserve and so on... Dockers are Category 1, Category 2 and so on. There is some differences in bays being assigned say A for Eagles and 2 for Dockers, but for the most part the bay sections are fairly similar.

A $830 - 1 $999
B $720 - 2 $799
C $610 - 3 $599
D $500 - 4 $399
E $390 - 5 $329

Eagles much cheaper on the 2 highest pricing options, pretty much break even on the middle tier and dockers win out easily on the 2 budget options.
Eagles dropping price for each level by $10 a game over every pricing option. Freo dropping each level by $18.18 a game, until they reach the last pricing option.

To be honest I like the eagles pricing structure a lot better, seems fairer for everyone.

$390 for 11 home games is quite good considering you can end up paying $70+ for a GA ticket at Domain.

I thought the cricket pitch ran at 90° to the footy field, like the MCG (thus would be behind the stumps)?

Cricket pitches run north-south (give or take 5° or so). The footy grounds that are also cricket fields usually run east-west. Which is the case for Perth Stadium. So the media, corporates, etc. are in the best spot for both (north side).

Yes but AT PERTH STADIUM, they will run wing-to-wing, no?

Yes. Ground itself is oriented E-W, so cricket pitches running N-S will be wing-to-wing. The short boundaries will be straight and the long boundaries will be square - which is generally the opposite to what you'd logically expect of a cricket ground.

Remember you have to allow a certain distance from the outer pitches in the pitch block. So the ground will always need to be bigger west-east.
Have you seen Adelaide Oval?
The international minimum from pitch to boundary is 59m on the short side, and a minimum 136m boundary to boundary. Longwise is minimum 64m each end. Plus pitch. So 150 by 136. Can be shorter east-west.

But to answer my question - will the sight-screens block the view from the Field Club?

I had premium seating at Subi (2nd tier in the wings) and I paid $350 or thereabouts - what is equivalent at the new Stadium - it's a bit confusing. Also sat on the Roberts Rd side of Subi where the sun could be quite vicious during the first half of the game - I would like to avoid this if possible - where at the new Stadium will the sun be a problem during day matches.

Don't know how you got 2nd tier on the wing for $350?? Concession or child even would have cost more than that.

Look which areas are shaded and which are not... north side of the ground is shaded.

Looks like it.

Cricket seating capacity is only 55,000, with bay covers taking up approx 5000 seats. Those seats being the ground/lower tier right behind the bowlers arm. Looks pretty much exactly where the Field Club is on the northern wing.

...

Not really correct.

Straight boundary
64m measured from the centre of the pitch. So 128m. Plus 3m between fence and boundary. So 134m.

Side boundary
Min 59.43m from centre of outer pitches in the block. So 118.86m+6m+distance between the centres of the 2 outer pitches (about 13m for the 5 pitches at PS)=137.86m.

So... the minimum size is more on the sides. And grounds with more than 5 pitches in the centre of the ground would be even wider.

Note I ignored the 3m of artificial turf against the fence & the fact that most places allow much more than the 2.75m min between the fence & boundary (which would apply at any point around the boundary).

At Perth Stadium it looks to have about 3m extra for the straight boundaries and 20m from the outer pitch on the side boundaries. (assuming the min size is used)

Bear in mind that the ICC minimum size does not apply to existing grounds where test or ODI cricket had already been approved and played before they passed the minimum size rule. So AO gets that historical exemption, Perth Stadium does not.
