How does it feel, Crowies, knowing that your coaches had the same opinion of Davis's worth last weekend as the rest of us not blinded by rose coloured glasses? :thumbsu::cool::thumbsu:

No ..I say Good on you Toots...for highlighting the OUTSTANDING talent and the fact that the Crows have a PLETHORA of talent ..so much so, that a Rising Star Nominated player can left out because an AA player is selected in his stead for the team structure.
Who's on your bench this weekend?

Well done...:thumbsu:

I think this thread just bit you on the bum,Toots.

Phils Rising Star performance was so lacklustre he couldn't keep Scott Stevens out of the side! ;)
And yet we beat Geelong. :thumbsu:

Meanwhile Port Power have lost 9 on the trot. That's not lacklustre, that's downright shit.

Rising star performance = lacklustre does it?

Seriously, <deep sigh > Stevens and Davis play different roles...Stevens is versatile and can play forward if needed. Davis is, at this stage , solely a defender.
Now, try again.

So you've given up defending Davis' nomination.

Nothing to defend. He deserved the award and is already better than any of your key defenders. Unfortunately for Poort, we have an AA defender ready to resume. As for Stevens, he plays a different role.

Maybe if Port had a key forward who wasn't a midget with an oversized head, Davis would have played ahead of Stevens.

I dont understand, we haven't dropped Davis, we will probably drop Symes. I would worry more about which one of Ports Scrub defenders will match up on Walker and Tippett.

Our great honest Capt was on one of the port power networks last night 9 i think he said as far as he knows Phil is playing.

Long time since you have not seen any thing through rose coloured glasses if you keep defending your cash strapped franchise. Here is a thought why dont you lot start up a debt demolition site like Melb did.Or are you worried it wont work

Carlisle was their last nom from memory.

This would have to be the worst attempt at a troll from a Poort flog in a while.

While I would have kept Davis in, how do you keep an AA CHB who dominated the SANFL the week before out of the side? You say what about Stevens? Did you even see the game last week? Yes Stevens' decision making can be 'erratic', however his defensive game against the cats last week was brillant! Not mentioning the fact that he plays a different role.

How are those gold passes for Carr coming along? Motlop? Cornes? WESTHOFF????? :D:D:eek:

Davis wasnt selected on last weeks performance alone. He has been decent over a period of time, and deserved it for that reason. Many people think Sloanes performance last week was better than Davis's. Sloane might get the nod this week, depending how he plays.

That said, Bock is due for a return. Bock provides more run than Davis does at the moment. Its a tough decision, but a great situation to be in. Cant remember the last time a decent player was dropped for another decent player at Adelaide.

Hats off to Toots though. Not many Portsters have tried trolling the crows of late. And the ones that do try (mainly Dumb_One) are just embarrassing themselves with their petty attempts.

Nice of you to pop your over inflated head up as we go into a showdown weekend.

Whilst it it tough to change a winning side, it is needed as Bock is more experienced in this roll & swapping Davis for Stevens just does not work

At AFC we focus on the match & the outcome rather that club/coach favorites with little or no regard for the result, something those from portside fail to take notice of.

Time for another holiday Toots

Toots is so pathetic these days the he is just being an opposition for oppositions sake. If Bock was left in the SANFL he would start a thread titled "Bock Dropped to the SANFL, why has Mumbles ruined an AA".

Toots has nothing to Troll about these days, gone are any decent threads. By the way Toots can you anewer this:

A couple of years ago a certain Crows poster had a battle with you about Shaun Burgoyne's selfishness, do you agree with this now was MB2326 "right at the time"? Were you wrong again and had those teal couloured glasses blinding what was eveidnet to everyone else.

See if this thread jogs your memory http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/showthread.php?t=322472&highlight=Shaun

Just an embarassment of riches down at the Pride Of.......
Oh wait they're still struggling to make the top 8 unless goliath teams like Carlton and North Melbourne make some space.
Hows your return to the finals looking ????

Port coach Mark Williams says internal and external expectations are in balance. At Alberton, he is preparing a team to return to AFL finals action for the first time since its traumatic 2007 grand final appearance.

Oh yeah

Not required to return to the finals this year. We'll save 8th and loving it for a more appropriate time.
As much as making up the numbers would be pleasing, 5th - 8th and achieving nothing is The Pride Of's Specialty.

Isn't that why your coach got the sack?
