I'm having a hard time believing it, couldn't see Pederson being that type of guy to agree to it, unless its a direction given from ownership of course.

Sure fire way to **** up a team either way if true, have a GM micromanage everything.

I think I'm at the point of writing off the season and let the kids play all over the field to see if they have anything, especially on the OLine with Jordan and ODriscoll given the age and injury history we have across the line.

While it's great having a very good dline, that's too many eggs in the one basket. Break some of that cash out for a good linebacker ffs.

Great read, the LB stuff really is damning & I'm inclined to soften my stance on Schwartz a bit for now, but he really needs to address what's going on at that position with players he has available to him, change it up, it really cant get any worse. If he keeps going on as is, **** him.

The other issue to consider with Roseman is the teams cap position which rarely seems to get bought up by beat reporters, or when they do they laugh it off with 'Howie will fix it'. I suspect it wont be that simple when it comes to the crunch & this team will shortly be forced to offload stars in a big way, which might not be the worst thing in the world but is not really the point.

So Howie's overall grading in his time in the job - draft management? fail, cap management? fail, there's a Superbowl so that's a huge pass, but the rest is all worth it? I guess so but this is all headed one way now & it aint 'up'.

howie caught lightning in a bottle for that super bowl period, obviously had a lot of revenge and fire burning inside. but since then perhaps he has become complacent, sacred cow syndrome, feeling safe and unchallenged... hence the descent to mediocrity

That whole last drive you just knew we'd score after the 2 minute warning and fail to convert the two pointer.

Great effort to get back in the game after an abysmal early showing both sides of the ball & outplay them in the 2nd half, but why call a run for the 2pt conversion esp when there were a couple of pass options open on the previous attempt that they made look so easy? Still it probably didn't matter with the time left on the clock & their automatic 3 point kicker.

Gutted again by injury - Sanders, Ertz, Wallace, Jackson, Driscoll, just nuts. Very pleasing to see Fulgham back it up. & Wentz gradually getting his game back, the guy is a beast, took a pounding yet still making plays late.

If you told me 9/11 offensive starters would be out injured by week 6 at the start of the season I'd have wagered heavily that Wentz would have been one of them.
