Reagor's on IR and still at least weeks away. Jackson can't play a game without missing two months. Alshon sucks even when fit.

We still need help.
IR is only 3 games this season so that makes him available after this weekends game from memory.

A number of Philly reporters are talking about (and Doug is considering based on his comments ) leaving Mailata at LT even when JP returns off IR. Assuming JM continues to play well, what the hell do they do with Dillard next season? He has made it quite clear by words and actions that he wont/can't play anywhere other than LT, combined with his play at LT leaves him with minimal trade value as far as I'm concerned. Do they trade him for whatever they can get or worst case just let him walk and use the cap space to sign someone else? His cap hits for the next 2 seasons are 3.3m and 3.9m.

Would be a good problem to have. This team deserves a bit of a break personnel wise so would be great if Mailata could break out, going to be a real test for him this week so a reality check might be coming but if he can break even, that'd be fine for his second start.

I'd move Dillard on & JJAW can carry his bags.

JJAW would drop the bags 😂

You have competition, and you start the winner. If Dillard isnt the best, he stays as the back up and you continue to attempt to develop him.

The idea that we won't need our back up lineman seems pretty fanciful right now.

Wentz still ****ing sucks. The stupid hold the ball for 15 second sack he took on first down on the drive where we could take the league was classic Carson. No brains.

Still, he's not the stupidest person in Philadelphia, that award goes to the deadshit defensive coordinator who decided to cover a guy that had already scored three ****ing touchdowns WITH A LINEBACKER.

Yeah just watched it, that's inexcusable from Schwartz, Slay was still out I think so they were short on bodies but that is the guy you basically leave uncovered??

Not sure on the decision to go for the field goal, I get it but I think you go for the first down there. Get it, take some more time off the clock, easier FG if you cant convert another first down.

At least there is a reliable wide receiver on the team at last, great game from Fulgham. DLine was pretty good for most of the game as well except for those offsides, I think I counted 3 3rd & longs when they jumped offside leading to first down conversions the next play, frustrating as hell.

You blokes have already covered it....

There were probably stupid coaches decisions throughout the match, but they're so polarised at the end.

The kick from 57 yards on 4th and 5 says it all about our offence.

But the playcall before it on the 3rd and 5 says it all about the playcalling at the moment. If you're kicking on the 4th, then passing on the 3rd down is inarguably the wrong call - passing is only the right call if you're also going for it on 4th down. If you're kicking it has to be a run. This is basic logic. So wtf is going on?

And covering Claypool with a LB... holy shit man...

With Schwartz I guess they feel like there isn't a better replacement out there? Yeah he's crap but if they replace him the new guy might be worse

At this point I'd be happy to wake up tomorrow morning to find out he's been sacked as that Gerry play has made me angrier the longer the day has gone on. Add that to the list of other dumb shit that happens season after season & enough is enough, he's no frigging good.

So anyone will do better will they?

Schwartz is better than people give him credit for (no he isn't perfect), found this from an article from before the season started :

For starters, his defenses have allowed just 16.1 points per game at home during his four-year tenure, the best mark in the NFL during that time span. They’ve also allowed the fifth-fewest points per game overall since 2016, surrendering just 20.4 points per contest. On top of that, Philly’s defense has only given up 30 or more points eight times in the 70 games Schwartz has coordinated the defense.

I'm going with the eye test, he sucks. & now we have Darby & Jones starting to look more than serviceable with their new teams, time for a change.
