If he doesn't, even in the worst case (a JHF scenario) WC will still be quite adequately compensated then just as North were

It certainly isn't worth accepting a crap offer now out of fear
We effectively got pick 2 for jhf
Sure it’s fair value

We would be offering that plus an extra first rounder now

Lol
What is going to be funny is when you do trade it and get exactly what I mentioned

Or if you don’t it will be funny when he goes back home
You don't have to worry about him going home. You staked your reputation on NM drafting Reid.

You should care. If they screw up they will demand even more.

If North screw up this mountain of assistance gifted to them for bad management we all know what happens next.

And it isn't more draft assistance. Apart from paying for the removalist shipping them off to Tasmania and the cost of redundancies.

I don't agree. I think they just get more.

We will probably find out.

You haven’t seen me troll if you think that’s what I’ve been doing

I’ve been on best behaviour here
"our picks are the greatest"

"Have fun with 1 and 30 while North have 2345678910!"

"Reid will just come back to Vic after his first training session"

"Take our shit offer, otherwise we'll recruit the 5 best players in the draft!"

This is the crux of your posting.

Think that is the most probable outcome.

Still wouldn't count out Hawthorn either.. They are very very keen on Reid. If North tries to get too fancy with the Eagles, the Hawks could find a way to gazzump them (obviously their future first would also be in play)

Ultimately i think pick 1 will be traded cause the Eagles really want Curtin, but at a bare minimum it will take at least 2 top 10 picks (including one in the top 3)
hawks pick 4, F1 and brockman has already been offered and knocked back. pretty crazy really.

I like how you put quotation marks as if it’s ver batim when you have just paraphrased it to make it more blunt and exaggerated

I think the idea of turning two picks at least in the early 20s into potentially a top ten pick next year will be too attractive, especially when it will mean the Roos can spread their huge injection of talent across two years instead of the one. Even just from a perspective where everyone turns out to be a gun - having five first round picked players hitting free agency at the same time will be a headache.

I also don't expect the quality of the draft at what turns out to be their #17 and #18 will be as good as the top twenty picks they will end up with next year for them.
