You do know that whilst he is a free agent, under AFLPA rules Judd can't be traded to any club without his consent, so even if you offered the roof, unless he wanted to go there, Richmond wouldn't have been able to snap him up anyway ?

Anyway in the end result, the best result happened for everyone, WCE got adequate compensation and Carlton got the best player in the AFL

For it to be better, player at pick 2 has to be better than pick 3 or 18 better than Josh Kennedy or 19 better than 20.

Time will tell but it looks pretty even to me.
