Hey Bomber fans,

Should WC get pick 26 from Richmond for Seaby, and it is looking quite likely we'll get pick 32 from WB for Hansen (Ray Swap)

Would you think pick 26 and 32 would be a fair swap for pick 23???

Would give you guys an extra pick in the 2nd round - and push us above Freo's eventual pick 24 in the draft that they'll get from Carlton

It probably is fair - I'm not an expert at all but I really don't see the point of it.

I don't think Essendon would be interested in giving WCE an early 2nd rounder when they already have a priority pick

So basically you want to swap Hansen and Seaby for pick 23.

I think the List Manager's job at the Eagles is safe for the time being.

If you get pick 26 for Seaby WCE should be jailed for raping the Richmond Football Club, Seaby = Dud.

Hansen for us is not going to be part of our next premiership squad.

Seaby has a desire to leave - I'd rather keep him.

Ultimately, draft picks are being held very close to the chest - I think that is the best deal we'd get.

Plus we'd get Ray plus 23 for Hansen and Seaby.

Pick 36 we'd give up to the bullies - but we wouldn't use that anyway

If the bombers can get a win out of it - why would they not do it just to stop WCE getting a win

because the kid we are looking at at #23 may well be the same one you are desperate to beat freo to. i am hoping we can upgrade #23 to somewhere in the mid teens and snaffle a Trengove or Swift, not downgrade it to pick 30-ish. Essendon don't need to boost the number of its kids. outright quality is the key.

well the argument that Essendon wouldn't win out of it is fair enough - but to state that they wouldn't do it because WCE would win out of it would be petulent i would have thought.

but by definition, if essendon aren't winning out of it, west coast are. this isn't one of those times where both clubs win, because both clubs are in similar list positions.

Seaby is a dud, and whatever WCE get for him, they should take it and run. the only reason they were playing him was to boost his trade value. The tigers are the biggest muppets when it comes to trade week, they have got no clue what opposition players are actually worth.

That would be a great deal for us! We need to take quite a few picks in this draft due to the amount of delistments and retirements. It has been one of my issues with everyone wanting to trade pick 23 and lovett for something better -- the more players/picks we lose the more picks we need to take in 5th, or 6th rounds...

At the moment we have the second most removals from our list (behind freo) so we will need to top up quite a bit.
