I honestly cant believe this is going to happen (can already see all the other leagues laughing at us), i'm sure plenty of clubs will be looking to get permit players for the one of game just so they can fill both seniors and reserves... I just don't know how clubs can be expected to play and round up 5 teams to play in a days notice. Kids are not even at school...
Let alone the people who are anxious about being out and about etc.
Was this a club vote? because everyone I have talked to from Vic are not keen as it compromises the integrity of the comp with NSW teams being able to train and teams not having full squads available through travel restrictions.

isn't it in breach of the NSW rules, Gladys has stated any Victorian coming into NSW has to abide by the covid rules they have in their state. i'e senior sport can only train at this stage.

Potentially it's
Border bubble
Complete declaration
Good to go

How many Victorians play in the Hume league which is going ahead. Lots from CDHBU, Billabong Crows, Osborne and Jindera i would have thought. I think Mitsch that the border bubble does cover it.

NSW have always said any Vics in NSW have to follow the Vic rules. So technically if Vics are in NSW still need to follow current Vic rules which would mean while in NSW no adult can play community sport
What’s in NSW legislation is importance , which I think you’ll find will be replicated publicly, if it hasn’t already .

This was on the PT Facebook page

Picola League football and netball will be played in the local area tomorrow.
Please note however, Victorian spectators are advised not to attend games.

The NSW Government is maintaining that anyone who has been in Victoria since May 27 must adhere to the stay at home orders - meaning you must stay at home unless you have a reasonable excuse to leave to obtain food and services, travel for work or education, medical care or outdoor exercise - whether they reside in metropolitan Melbourne or regional Victoria.
Information provided to NSW Member for Murray Helen Dalton's office says "this means the Victorian residents can enter NSW to participate in organised outdoor sporting activity, and purchase food at these events, This does not cover Victorian spectators at the events and it does not allow for participating in social activity after the event. If they are travelling to these events as an employee then they can do so 'for the purposes of work'."
Victorians are encouraged to check both https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/coronavirus and https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19 for rules and regulations before leaving home.
