You make some very good points here but think you have missed the point.

Not always can people make it to games in person for a large range of reasons from various other commitments, work, health, location etc etc etc, and still want to feel involved with 'their' club and 'their' league and the various platforms provide that option and can fill the gap and keep people connected and engaged if only in absentia.
Such things as timely updates on game scores for all grades should be considered a bare minimum requirement or expectation, and before you say this does occur each week, please admit (if only to yourself) that wasn't the case this last season and was pointed out/questioned/requested by several posters throughout the year.

What ever happened to the new and improved and updated league website that was meant to be coming?
That would be a good starting point surely. Fill in the gaps in the history section. Find a way to get missing information and season linked in. Update the GF winners and B+F etc.

Everyone these days knows that good access to good social media options is simply a sign of a good well run league which wants to engage as many people as far and wide as possible in order to keep as positive and high as possible profile for promotion and engagement - not deter people from actually going to games (where and when they can) but actually the opposite.

Not sure why you are so defensive about this issue being asked tbh?
I’m unsure how many times you have to be advised that the league is not responsible for uploading scores aside for during finals , where they are uploaded as soon as possible .
The leagues doesn’t have sufficient staffing to be at every game from u15’s netball to the end of the seniors match and even if they did a lot of games couldn’t and wouldn’t be ‘ live ‘ scored due to service unavailability .
The league did move to live scoring for netball last year including supply of tablets and less than 50% of the games were recorded using that format .
All history on the league website has been up to date for some time keeping in mind details can only be updated once they have occurred .
It’s your view , because it’s suits your agenda that leagues should be judged on its social media not everyone’s.
There is more to life and community sport than social media .
You may not be aware but there is a significant shift toward community engagement where people can merely go and play for enjoyment in preference to increased scrutiny and increased publicity .
Unfortunately your posting history from commencement if one of fabrication .

Thank you for your “constructive?” feedback

I was actually passing on real life feedback I had received during the season from an ex local who had tried looking up information and results.

I quickly checked before posting my last comment and on my browser at work the history link on the league website came up with a blank page. Maybe it’s the wrong browser? You know I’m not very tech savvy.

But you do you.

Forget about it mate, unless you agree with him you might as well be talking to a brick wall. Other local leagues have far better social media presence …. But I’ll probably get told I’m wrong about that…
Anyway enough about boring admin shit. How do people think club recruiting is looking?
I think Waaia have improved list while retaining most of premiership side- team to beat in 25
Katandra added Bailey Bell and retained list, had a good enough team to win last year , just had a shit GF. Reckon they will be top 4 again .
Katty look to have recruited very well , will be top 4 looking for a GF next year
I reckon Strathy, Katunga and Tunga will be pushing for last top 4 spot.
Reckon Jerilderie will be improvers ,
Deni and Picola to be competitive.
Dookie will he an unknown, mid range in KDL last year probably has them mid ladder hear, then to drop away after that. Yarroweyah to fold unfortunately
Cheers

Don’t think anyone is debating other leagues post / share more upon social media .
Debate is the relevance or benefit.

You think I’m going to be bullied into backing down on calling out 🐂 💩 , by the old ‘ talking to a brick wall ‘ comment .
😜 😜 😜 😜

Like justanotherfootynut your posting history has continually made accusations/ comments which have proven to be fabricated .
Interestingly , pro AFL and anti PDFNL , fancy that .

Almost 3 months ago and if I have counted correctly there were 15 score updates that day . ( so much for there being no score updates 🤔 🤔)

But of coarse no-one has gone searching for a means to have whinge .
Do you ever take constructive criticism or do you just love the “my way or the highway” attitude ? This league never seems to do anything wrong but you certainly love to pick out the flaws in other leagues.

on another note, what’s the salary Cap of the PDFNL?

Significant difference between constructive critiscm and gutless attempt to defame including with 🐂 💩.
Take plenty and welcome all sorts of feedback from people who are happy to do so in conversation , rather than cowardly via anonymity . Doing so in a forum where the expectation on each party is equal.
It’s quite funny that some who think they have complete anonymity are challenged irl about their comments on here and they aren’t as keen to discuss .

Likewise, if I was to discuss and critique them upon here, their view on the what is fair game to be posted , changes dramatically .

Wanting to post with anonymity with no accountability and then attempt to silence anyones right to rebut including attempting to bring their character into question .

Also more than happy for everyone to debate anything I post about any league , I certainly won’t be claiming ‘ constructive critiscm’ nor ‘ my way or the highway ‘ .
Have you have been on here , the PDFNL board ‘ to post anything other than negativity about the PDFNL or myself ?

Picola league is a great league, great family and community focus and great clubs.
The 5ths program is brilliant and initially thought it best to be with the AFL, but now think that is irrelevant and better of without AFL, particularly AFLGM. But….
Board transparency, professionalism and following due process doesn’t seem to happen ..
OM was meant to be leaving them out of the blue is reappointed . I’m not in clubland but from what I heard clubs were just told it had happened via a email from league president , no consultation or opinions sought.
Just my thoughts, from outside seem mostly week run , but still these issues

Agree with most of this

Just don’t understand the relunctance to promote all the good the league is doing and achieving more from the top down and not just relying on the volunteers In clubland to do what IMO should be part of the ops managers brief

It’s not trashing the league stating factual questions I personally have been asked or Passing on feedback and for such to be called BS in tbh quiet offensive

Why is there a dick measuring contest on who wants to run the league on this forum. If you have problems go through the appropriate lines not a big footy forum

Hang on a moment , you did criticise the league and in particular the ops manager for not having the history up to date which you have now admitted was an error . You’ve also made accusation of similar upon here which has been proven incorrect .
IF you were to ask rather than chose to go off half cocked the response you get may be different .
If you have feedback on matters to improve the league or things you’d like to see then contact the league and they will be taken taken on board .

I believe your insinuation regarding due process is incorrect, particularly considering many including the AFL have undertaken many processes trying to find wrong doing , more than happy for you to provide examples . I suspect your issue is comprehending or accepting that the league operates with a board rather than a delegate system.
The leagues board as is the case in most boards, including clubs boards , are solely responsible for appointments .
As per the letter which went to clubs , the leagues ops manager was asked to stay on within the role , despite expressing their intention to not extend their contract , as the leagues board was not well enough prepared for a new ops manager .
The board is relatively new with only one board member having been on the board for greater than 2 years .
Clubs have never been consulted on the appointment of a ops manager and I think you’d be hard pressed to find any league who would .
Again much like clubs appoint coaches without consulting constituents if for no other reason than to ensure confidentiality .
