So you not having a run tomorrow pace? (fitness or injury?) How the boys looking, you're travelling pretty well at this stage ( jj & pev must've been just what you's were looking for )

No not playing .
A few within the side have niggles as most have at this time of the year, ( yea everyday you get reminded not to believe everything you get told or read, but hey a bit of publicity whether it be true or not can sometimes be an advantage )

What retired??

Yeah i wish our injurys were just niggles! I think we been cursed or something! Never seen so many players get injured in such a short amount of time (meaning over 10 out of senior starting 18 in 3wks)

So will you still be heading to the game tomorrow for a look?

Had a op a while ago, been back training 6-7 weeks, and headed down a 4 month plan to play last week or this week, but things have unfortunately been changed a little.
Will play again just not certain of the circumstances.
May be over for a look .

north west comp looks very interesting at the moment with no clear standout, good to see mathoura at the top end of the ladder, bit surprised with strathmerton wouldve thought they be up there, anyone no what the go is there?. hopefully wunghnu wins a few games

The Katandra-Dookie game underlights was a great success. Huge crowd to watch the game. Was a bit weird waiting around for the game though. As always the Dookie guys hung around for a beer or two.

Big games coming up with Katandra playing Shepp East and then Tungamah to complete the first round of matches.

Dookie 3rds were very impressive!

The berrigan vs jerilderie game on the weekend was a great game with berrigan winning by 1 point thanks to an ex berrigan player stu way giving away 2 50m penalties with about 5 minutes to go. Also a brilliant smother by denis hickey that would of been a certain goal for the demons. These two teams are certain to be finals contenders.

We played Strathy on the weekend and there were a lot of faces i hadnt seen before. The reports of them having 10 of so out would be fairly close i would say. The guys they have in are having a crack but without JB, dicko, shadboldt, taylor and co any side will struggle a little. The next 4 weeks will shape their season with Blighty, Berrigan and Jerildere in there. They need to win 2 of them. One positive for strathy will be if they can get their side on the park i reckon they will be firing at the right end of the season.

Is it any co-incidence that since the comp is split this year that the amount of banter going on here on BIGFOOTY has dropped?

I beleive the league is aware of this matter and you would hope they deal it and not just sweep it under the carpet, because it is a disgrace and there is no room for discrimination in sport, irrespective of the circumstances.

Great to see Sam Wright formally of Katty football club making his debut this weekend for the Kangaroos.

Yeah Dave was one of the 19 ex 3rds players to take the field for Katandra yesterday.

Jake Sprunt (who has been at Katandra for 5 years) and Derek Hall were the two guys who played their junior footy elsewhere.

A fact we are all very proud of at Katandra.

Weak as Iwantanotherflag surely you could get those two out of the side and be a completely home grown side.
Out of interest in what age groups are those home growns in, ie how many , over 30,25-30, 20-25 , under 20's and also how many ex Katandra thirds kids are playing elsewhere, and who are they, that would be considered to play in your current senior side.
Also how many thirds flags have you guys won over the past 15 or so years ??

Yeah that is right... It's not much of an issue, they play their rugby and we play footy, its never been a concern.
