yeah waaia played tungas game in the 1st quarter, there was a massive win though, i think only one or 2 goals kicked up one end of the first half not sure

Where should the Grand Final be played this year? Don't think Katunga want it .... Dookie and Katamatite are keen to host it... ? Who's go the best facilities in the league?

With only 8 teams in the SE.. and 6 Finals to be played, everyone has a fair chance of hosting a final.
If home and away games are anything to go by the gate should be well up.
Here's some maths for you....
Revenue from NW Finals Series + Revenue from SE Finals Series (SHOULD) = Way more than the old PDFL series
Another reason why the split is a success.
On Grand Finals, I'd personally like to see cars back at least 2m from the fence if allowed in at all. They take up too much space and quite often sit unattended.
That rule should in no way apply to the ute backed in with a couch on the back!!

Waaia have had a final the last 3 years so they shouldn't get one this year ...
Apart from the hard pitch in the middle and the thousands of flies, yes. Buzz is that Blighty have got the North West Granny. Got a pretty good space for cars too.

Anyone know why katunga don't want it?
When it was taken from them for a breach in League rules, they cracked to poo’s and said it was not worth having at all. They said it was to much work for the money. Apparently the guaranteed $$ for hosting the Granny each year didn’t weigh up against the $$ from having a final once every three years with the Granny $$ being slightly less the a normal final but over the 3 year cycle it turns out to being nearly double!
Berrigan has good facilities and will have new social rooms by finals time.

Apparently Victoria Police have made a request to the League that whoever holds the Grand Final will have to ensure no cars are parked around the boundary at all (including the couched-up utes)... there will need to be some other place for cars to park. And they will be cracking down on the liquor licensing rules after last year's GF.
