Re: Piccola District football league

Shelton he is still deciding on his future, but money talks. Numurkah are on the hunt, he has a heap of mates their. I think he would run of a wing in the blues lineup.
The blues need someone to replace Kimberleys hardness on the wing.

Re: Piccola District football league

How did that joel Kimberley perform, did he get a few hard ball gets. What about that Matt Fitzpatrick how did he go for yarroweyah.
They will struggle against the bigger sides.[/quote

kimberleys all talk no show. come of the bench in numurkahs ones last year never did much ffitzpatrick can play but yet to proove him self lacks heart

Re: Piccola District football league

From the lack of posts about it I take it that every one is happy with the way the league is going in 2008. Will that mean the death of the old bus trip. Perhaps clubs will have to have a bus trip for games like Picola & Tungamah and include a detoured pub crawl on the way home!

I don't think everyones happy just yet, Mathoura is Pissed at distances they will have to travel, but as we all know any team can say that they are not happy where they have been put on make a case for joining other comp.

Re: Piccola District football league

yeah watched the game between congupna & shepp east on fri night, was very scrappy, in good conditions to?? mellington & coad both struggled, both had poor skills but i guess pretty much everyone else did to! coad seemed to move around well but that was the only good thing between the pair! i think thier biggest positive was the way cozi cirillo played off half back, moved & carried the ball very well! but dont think they will be the team they were last year, to many young kids to bring up through the ranks this year, will lose some hardness at the ball!
thanks for your insite into the game waymo. little bit tough on coad but i think your view on mellington was spot on. coad showed a fair bit i think and will be a good player if he keeps his head, shep east will be small but very fit so look out for there hard running game come the important end of the season

Re: Piccola District football league

whats the news on kev mcqualter i hear hes going to be the twos captain this yr? any truth to the rumour? looks like hes baulked up a bit

I hear he is not going to pull the boots on. Has he been running around at training Magic?? I would think if fit he would be a certain starter in the ones.

From looking at the transfers list Barny have picked up a few handy midfielders. They might be looking to give him a lessor role through the middle?
How have the saints been going in the night series?

Nah I haven't seen that big body cast much of a shadaw on the training track just jet, although he was watching the boys run around at night comp like Chicken38 said, I could see his brain ticking to see where he's goin to slot in!
Berrigan dropped it's first game but won it's second. Might have an Intra club match this weekend.

Re: Piccola District football league

Given we are not far from the start of the season, can we get an insight into some of the do's we can expect this season. I beleive there's a bit of the chocy rinse getting about for a few of the oldies still trying to hang on to their image. Thank god a certain katandra coach is not overly worried, can you image the product needed to take his crop back to its original state. !!!
