From what I've heard and read on here Andrew May and Brody Lumbar may be exploring their options, I wouldn't write May off as gone from the Rovers, my info is that they met his wishes and he is in the process of seeing whether another club can meet his wishes , don't know if Rovers are prepared to leave the offer on the table whilst he explores other options ?
Can another club trump the offer and does the offer remain on the table and therefore does he have an option ?
Credit to Strathy , Picola and Blighty I won't name players as I'm not sure they're over the line and those clubs obviously don't want it to be public knowledge , but I'm happy to be proven wrong!
The Wunghnu situation isn't good, probably the worst effected club geographically by the leagues split, KDFL a last option ?

Nothing confirmed but will say the player in question is a legend and will be a coup for the club if we can pull it off but very early days yet and chances probably slim. I thought our guys kept a tight lid on this stuff obviously a leak somewhere care to devulge your sources there pace?

been pretty quiet in berrigan no real losses still talking to ex local boys to come back just really supporting the juniors boys coming up with alot of 16 17 old boys looking to play senior footy this year exciting times in berrigan. Have heard JERILIDERIE have lost up to TEN players from last years side

I don't understand why he hasn't signed, I have heard stories that the Rovers spoke to him early, found out what he wanted to play on next year, came up with a couple of options and he hasn't re-signed and that the Rovers may have got sick of being screwed around and may have withdrawn their offer ?
I also believe more than one club, which has been linked to Andrew ,has no interest in him joining their club ?

Not sure of any leaks from within your club, it was more a case of a person asking about your club which lead to further info being disclosed by them !

What's wrong with the flys? May - not telling. Budget - on track. As for me lifting the lid to PTF you really don't know wilty do you I always like our club to be the first to break good news and I am quite capable of handling that myself on here thank you I don't need a "wingman" to help me out.

Would I Lie to You Bids a Fond Farewell​

As we head into the start of another season talk will turn to more football related topics and as I am a lady (as gorillaman so correctly worked out after finally doing some research) lets face it I watch the game for the scenery wouldn't know if a game was being played at all really!

However, I came on here with one mission get people talking more about Blighty and way less about everyone else before the end of the year and make sure people had us back on the radar as possible finals contenders. Must have achieved it as Gorillaman acted quickly after the newspaper articles to try to focus back on Mathoura - a tactic not lost on me there Gorillaman! As it is now January 2 and mission accomplished I need to re-focus on all the other things to get done before 10 April.

But before I leave a few parting thoughts:

My Prediction for final five come finals: I do expect it to be a very even competition again with all clubs with the exception of Wunghnu in the hunt:

Blighty (come on a girl can dream)
Rovers (I want a Blighty/Rovers final so we can beat Bode this time both senior and 17's thanks.
Berrigan If haven't lost many as definately have junior talent
Jerilderie is talk have lost alot but don't underestimate them as still talk have gained a few​

Strathy if rumours of pick up and returning players is true
however Yarra and Picola will be pushing as well I would say for the fifth spot.

My thoughts on some of the threads most talkative characters:
Charles Mac: Probably the most honest and straight talker of the lot. Admired how you handled all the rumours and never spoke badly of players lost to the club. Nice duelling with you but I'm not done with you yet
Never too Old: Always seeing the funny side. One of the people I most respect in the league. Not done with you yet either
Herb: the more serious one but normally accurate and to the point. How many will he kick this year?
Gorillaman: Oh my god are you for real. I know who you are but I don't know enough to know if this is the real you or is the real you an alter ego on here???. I hope your negative talk does not harm the reputation of your club remember not everyone reading this knows who everyone is and their relationships with one another but something tells me that doesn't bother you. I'm not sure if it should be me or you worried that it took a month for you to work out I was a lady!!But you certainly add character to the site that's for sure.
Rudy Opitz - the one everyone is still trying to work out. So which club are you associated with there Rudy? My prediction Mathoura could you be someones imaginary friend called on in times of crises but I could be wrong.
Pace to Freeze - You really like to stir things up a bit don't you. I hope things work out for you and you continue to enjoy your footy.

One final piece of advice for parents that I have only learned from this site:
Bananas are not brain food - feed the kids chocolate.Ha Ha Ha Gorillaman.

I have no real association although as i live in Deni i like to follow the local sides in Rams Rovers Mathoura and Blighty like most in Deni i want the rovers to get there first flag and i want Mathoura to be sucessfull after a few years of being down. So you wont see me with the boots on but i do try to get along to the local games when im not working.

Have played with mick at wunghnu the past 2 years good bloke and good club man not much of a footballer but his brother goes alright from most reports

Wunghnu has signed Geoff Boyle as the coach for there 2010 season he also has bought with him 10-14 players, 1from the GVFL and chuck in 2 X Murry Bushrangers.
I have all the names but i will be waiting until the ball is rolling after the New Years Break.
But I confirm they are all 100% signing up at Wunghnu as alot are my mates and they have all played together, so things are looking up at Wunghnu and trust me they will not be the easy beats they have been in the past, i'm not saying they are playing finals but i can tell you they will win a few games more then did last year, and no i dont mean 2 In what i think is a big year for the clubs 100 or 125 year anv if im not mistaken..
