Pies And Hawks To Be Scrutinized During Melee

Was reported in the Sun this morning,that the pies and the hawks to be scrutinised on video footage with regards to a bit of a dust up during last weeks practice.
Shite i hope no reports come out of it.The pies cannot afford to lose any players before the start of the season proper begins.
Neither can the hawks for that matter.The hawks have already lost a few key players for round one,could devestate them if one or two more get reported.

It happened just in front of where I was standing. There wasn't much in it.

A Hawks player tackled one of our guys after a mark/free kick was paid. A few players rushed in, but there wasn't anything untoward. Just a bit of pushing.

On another (hawk) board, they've mentioned Medhurst landed a blow to ??, and then Ladson threw a couple that missed, but apart from that just a wrestle.

Anyone else seen anything?

Yeah I saw some footage on the news, didn't look to be too much in it. Probably a bit too much for a practice match, but good to see the boys going hard at it, as long as no reports come from it, all is well!

I did see medhurst rush in, that was probably the worst of it, but good too see him looking out for the boys.

Nothing to worry about I'd say, maybe a few fines will be thrown around...

If a Pies player gets suspended from a practice match I will have a few words to Demetriou myself.

Even looking at this would be a total farce.
Anything coming out of it should be a civil matter.

What players where involved?
I saw in the paper from a picture Heath Shaw, but i can't remember any others atm.

IF anything had of come from it, i think the AFL would have heard from a fair few Collingwood and Hawthorn supporters. Practice match and from the footage on the news looked like nothing.

Makes you realise just how damn stupid players from both clubs were to engage in that sort of crap in a practice match.
