Kids are bouncing around with the biggest grins you're ever likely to see! Nights like this remind me why I follow this awesome Club. Written off to not even make the 8 now about to play in probably the biggest prelim in decades with a sneaky chance of getting through to a GF. And if we do get through....Oh boy!!

Firstly, hell yeah !

Secondly #**# I love this club !!!

What entertainment and glancing joy to be had by all of us Magpies

I was disappointed in this game. Could have made a statement, and yet again we struggle and ourselves are our own worst enemy. Instead of going in on an inspiring and controlling win... we go in on the back of a struggling and limp over the line type win. We will not beat Richmond next week. Tonight was about getting a psychological advantage, and we didn't do that at all. If I was a Richmond player watching that game, I'd be eager to get out on the field opposite this team.

RED CARD THIS BLOKE MODS!!

COOOOOLLLLINNNGGGWOOOODD!!

Semi’s are often ugly doofus. Tuggers better be ready. Blood is in the water.

So proud of the boys - we were heavily challenged after leaving the door ajar and we stood up in a manner we weren't able to last week.

Should stand us in good stead next week as it's the one thing we've been lacking in terms of finding a way to get back on top when things aren't going our way.

Agree with that we kept GWS in the Game to just about the End but we where able to get the Win

Thought the mids were beaten most of the night. But Treloar & Adams stood up in the last. Pendles went to Coniglio & quitened him until he copped a knock to the leg. Even if we went out in straight sets I would have been very proud of the club in 2018. We have a tough assignment next week but we can play free with nobody giving us a shot.

The backline were immense tonight. Maynard, Goldy, Howe, Aish, Langdon & Greenwood can hold their heads high. Bravo Pies.

Welcome to finals footy. This exactly what finals teams are built on, the ability to graft a win when a wins what you need. And yes we will beat Richmond next week because we are the finals hardened side this year.

100% Agree.

No One will give a Chance so there be not much Pressure on them and They we can Help we play better with less Pressure on thm

Don't know how we get Aish out of the team at this stage but the guy is soft and an ordinary user, even in space. Cox looked sore but made some great moves. Great back up game.
Aish has had 2 pretty disappointing weeks with a lack a poise.
Don't think he should be playing back so much, but I'd think he's got to be under the pump. When you're not quick you need poise.
Coaches need to look him in the eye this week and decide what's there.

We've been a solid threat to Richmond on the two outings this year. Both times we fell away in the last quarter, both times we were hampered by injuries and therefore over worked on rotations. I'm not penciling in Richmond yet, the Pies have heart. Go Pies!

Brayden Maynard came out during the week and called Toby Greene out.

I'm proud of him.

Brayden Maynard is a star. It’s fitting his real father is the Minoan bull.

Love his attack on the ball and man. His manic pressure and lovely boot are what great teams are built on.

This is what I"m hoping will happen.

I just want to see us destroy teams. But we always leave the door open. Should've hammered the Giants tonight and I don't know why we didn't. Sorry if anyone here is upset about my comments, but I'm worried we come out next week and get smashed if we play like this.
