He got a lifetime ban for all AFL and AFLW matches...do you think thats fair or a bit harsh? Seems a bit harsh to me, maybe 10 years, but I suppose anyone brash enough to do that could be capable of anything.

I wonder if this the standard penalty for pitch invasion plus the 5k fine, or what the court decided. Given he didn't really say try to attack players or put anyone in danger, just disrupted the game, can imagine it'd be the standard penalty. Wonder if making this more widely known would deter more...I mean, it's still a rare occurrence anyway.

As I understand if he continues to go games he can then be charged with trespassing which is a potentially more serious criminal offence. The threat of that would usually be enough to keep most people on the straight and narrow.

Pitch invaders should be treated harshly imho.

It won’t be long until some unhinged individual sees the opportunity, gets on the ground to punch or stab a player that everyone will sit back and say - “oh, they should’ve done more, this should never be allowed to happen” before serious action is taken.

Imagine someone with ulterior motives running onto the ground when a player kicks his 100th (if it ever happens again). The crowd invasion is simply uncontrollable.

Player safety takes precedence over some larrikin trying to make a TikTok video.

Quite frankly if they are not willing to be naked when doing it then they should be punished harshly. Streaking without streaking is just lazy.

Not sure how they could restrict him from buying tickets online either. Ticketek/Ticketmaster certainly aren't going to enforce an AFL ban.

If he’s caught he’ll likely be charged with trespassing and face a hefty fine. Caught again, maybe gaol time.

Though if he dresses up like Catman security will be non the wiser.
