been said heaps, Hase has job security. Tuck has the ability to score well but will he get games? its your judgement on that but i think Hase is better option.

Who would you rather have? Selwood / S Johnson / Chappy

(Skippy as fwd or mid)

while selwood will score, i think my entire league will have him = boring as hell. anyone getting on Boyd?

Id take Selwood!

Now who would you rather..

Swan, Hille/Petrie and Hentschel
vs
Butler, Mcintosh and Richo/Lids/Didak/Franklin (also specify which player you would take of the gun forwards in option 2 and rucks in option 1)

Yep... I have Hentschel and Ziebell but Brown and Walker on bench... definitely the weak point of my team.

Same here. Very, very risky. I'll probably bench Ziebell if he's named on the extended bench. Not taking any risks with emergencies this week.

I'd love to bring in Krakouer, I just can't find the extra 70k.

I also still need to find the 40k to bring in Ablett. It's pretty much come down to Ablett + Goodwin v Swan + Deledio. Have the latter at the moment but I can see myself getting annoyed at not picking Ablett.

^ Swan and krakouer IMO

houlihan and suban OR krakouer and hill (bench)

also what are peoples thoughs on andy otten instead of rich. Has huge potential an is definitely unique

Krak and Hill. Better bench protection for your backs.

Buddy + Corey + Hentschel vs S Johnson + Mackay + Goodwin

Im worried about having Hentschel in the team. Goodwin looks like he could score well playing the Hodge quarterback role and I can always pick Buddy up later after a bad game. Mackay is a better cash cow than Trent too.

Thoughts?

not too keen on either combo tbh, hodges

but in the grand context of the season i'm thinking Franklin + Corey are the better keepers.
Hentschel worries me too. i remember i bought McDougall for a similar price (a few years ago) and he let me down. if he doesn't average 60ish he's a bit of waste. i like Yarran better tbh :p.

Yeah I just dont see much else value around his price. He is best 22, and will play until he gets injured (touch wood it doesnt happen). Cant say the same for Yarran unfortunately.

Another one:

Corey + Bock vs Franklin + Goddard

This is a bit more even. I think the second option will hold the edge in combined averages by seasons end, but option one is probably more durable.

Which midfield would you Choose

1) Gary Ablett Jnr, Scott Thompson, Daniel Cross, Joel Selwood, Paul Haselby
2)Gary Ablett Jnr, Scott Thompson Daniel Cross, Daniel Kerr, Danyle Pearce
3)Gary Ablett Jnr, Scott Thompson, Daniel Cross, Nathan Foley, Danyle Pearce

Number 1...

Kerr only needs to sneeze and he will get 4 weeks holiday, Pearce won't increase price quick enough, better off with the likes of Hasleby and using the $$ elsewhere. But I guess it depends on your short term trading plan is.

think this will be my last decision still thinking about it
Kerr v Foley

not too sure who to pick

Defs Foley he is a gun, I know he handballs it a hell of a lot, but gets heaps of possies, will prob average 85-100 i reckon, Kerr can have some great games/tackles a lot but can't handle a tag and not really too consistent.

Down to the last piece in my puzzle:
Goodwin over Judd in the center? I have Judd at the mo', but Goody has the better numbers over the last couple of years.

Goodwin over BJohnson in the forwards? I have Johnno at the mo', but again Goody has the better numbers in recent years.

Basically I can squeeze Goody into either the center or the forward line but just unsure if it's worth it at the expense of Judd or Johnno. Thoughts?

Something I've been mulling over:

Andy Otten in the midfield, Hayden Skipworth up forward
OR
Andy Otten in the midfield, Nathan Krakouer up forward
OR
Hayden Skipworth in the midfield, Nathan Krakouer up forward

I have enough spare case for all scenarios to work. I'm leaning towards the last one at this stage. Thoughts?
