I guess Pav is pretty consistent without pulling big scores ... whereas Johnson has the ability to go berzerk ... might benefit from the supposed "more midfield time" we keep speculating on

pre-season has been god for sure - I'm just more an all or nothing type player ... premiums or rookies ... so I'd rather buy a rookie midfielder and put the extra 130k or so into a premium ... but that's just the way I roll!

Both have injury history and both have been in good pre-season form. If it were me i'd go Knights and the cash as he should be scoring about the same as Higgins.

He brings to the Melbourne side so much which we lack. Aggression, Strength, LONG ACCURATE KICKING. Traditionally he's been a forward but he'll be playing back flank. Which to me means one thing, he's in the team to be used as a kicker off HBF.

Dixon has had a good preseason but like nearly all GC kids he's unknown. McKernan (spelling?) has said a few times now that he plans on rotating the kids around.

Really, as a cash cow they're both good options. I can just see Tapscott grabbing his opportunity by the scruff of the neck.

I really haven't paid much attention to the pre-season so please don't take my advice as gospel, but I'm going with Yaz. from the limited stuff I've seen Yaz is adjusting well to playing as the classy half backer, and IMO points come more naturally to those types of players than forwards who play up the ground, as fyfe did last year. Again I don't know how fyfe's role has changed if at all, but he does have DPP but costs 30k or so more.

Lewis Jetta (mid) vs Chris Knights (fwd)

Jetta looks like being a big improver and a lot of people reckon Knight's is a lock?
Also impacts where I play krakoeur, if i go with jetta, then I lose the flexibility of DPPing mid/fwd

Really just stuck on my last bench rookie.

Already have Hibberd and Bewick.

Curnow for me could be this year's Michael Barlow but because he is at Carlton I am worried about him, then Atley will likely play every week but there is a good chance he could see a lot of the subs bench.

Thoughts?
