Absolutely torn.
Robbie Gray vs Luke Dahlhaus. Would love anyones opinion

If money is no issue then Gray all the way...hey.

Showed last year he's capable of going big and has had a fantastic pre-season, playing in a high scoring team, Boak is still the most likely to get the tag and he can always slide forward and kick a bag.
Dahlhaus will benefit from some of the reshuffling that will take place at the doggies this year and should increase his average, but I don't think he'll be able to match Gray for scoring power.

Dom Sheed vs Daniel Rich

Not sure how Simpson plans on using Sheed, that is whether he still eases him into some matches. I don't think he'll be a vest candidate given we really need to blood our young midfielders, but it's just a slight concern.

He's still a bit young to be able to confidently predict how he'll score at AFL level, he certainly has a lot of the attributes of a good AFL player, but he's unproven.

Rich is hard to predict because the start of his career he was so often the #1 tagged player, that should no longer be the case. But at the same time it seems he's also fallen down the pecking order in terms of midfield rotations, where he may feature more on a HBF. We don't know how he'll come back from injury, his role and therefore his scoring potential. He's never been a MASSIVE scorer in DT, but again, that could be because of tags, so it's hard to say.

Personally, I'd probably go Rich because at least he has some runs on the board that you can feel safe that he's AFL-ready and will be free of the tag.

Dunstan or Daniel Rich? Price is irrelevant as its a draft league.
My personal opinion would be Rich. He is very valuable to the Lions as his disposal efficiency is extremely good. I would think that they would be looking to get the ball into his hands. With Dunstan I don't think he can score as high because he plays more half forward than midfield

Is it worth having rich on, when i can have Ellis-Yoleman or Vandenberg start and maybe get the same score?

CEY and Vandenberg both are sub risks. If Vandenberg starts against GC this afternoon I'd rather have him playing personally.

Also depends on where else you are going to be using that money.

Same, Im using the money to upgrade Bont to Swan

Boak + 60k

vs

Barlow

At first glace it should be very simple (Barlow all day erryday), but... idk. I have a mate that plays for Swan Districts reserves and word on the street last week was that 'Barlow will need jabs to get through this game.' Obviously didn't affect his game at all, but I'm just thinking, his pre season injury... ugh. Someone convince me otherwise!

My 2 cents.(new to analysing this)
Salem is rather popular but in the reading I've done over the last 24hrs, a few "experts" claim he's a risk for continued scores)
I personally think Mitch Clark is great value.
Cripps being a WA boy, I'd pencil him in for the rising star nomination the way rookies have gone v WCE the last few years (but that's just pessimism)
Impressed by Whitfield so far this preseason. Griff under in his 1st game for GWS. This is the gamble, surely he's due for a better outing.
